In the driving  seat for the next mix in our series is the @RinseFM regular Jay Carder. 

The London-based DJ and producer has built a name for herself with her genre-spanning eclectic taste and energetic sets. Jay has an uncanny ability to whip any crowd into a frenzy with anything from Trip-Hop, techno, uk bass, breaks, and jungle. 

Jay’s debut release ‘Eva’s Stoned’ dropped earlier this year on @Kassiansound @FauxPoly label which catapulted her name further, gaining her support from @BBC6music

For this instalment we’re fortunate to have a live recording taken from her set last year at the Lighthouse stage. 
A late night journey through stripped back garage, techno and deep breakbeat cuts. It’s an educational journey and a clear demonstration why Jay is one of the scene’s most sought after DJs.

Le 3 et 4 février dernier, on a lancé la première collection de merch Halfpipe.

Pour l'occasion, on a organisé un pop up store à Paris et avons invité une dizaine de djs à venir jouer.

New York City–based producer Ford Scott makes his label debut with four club-ready weapons that fuse deep minimal grooves with high-energy drive. Drawing inspiration from 90s house while adding his own modern edge, Ford has caught the attention of some of the scene’s biggest names with his innovative basslines, meticulous sound design, and relentless dancefloor focus.

The A-side opens with Watch Out, a crafty, rolling bassline paired with sleek, layered synth work and captivating sound design. Next up, Work That Body delivers suspense-filled builds and explosive drops, pairing hypnotic vocal chops with a punchy bassline for a full-throttle dancefloor weapon.

On the B-side, The Message channels 90s hip-hop swagger into a groovy, bass-driven cut with intricate melodic textures and fluid, evolving atmospheres. Closing out the EP, Can’t Sit Down turns up the heat with futuristic synth stabs, a driving low end, and a tightly-wound arrangement that refuses to let the energy drop.
