This tracks who was originally released as my contribution to the charity compilation ‘Dhawa Sunrise’ ,created by Outtallectuals collective, has taken a new life.
In the past year I was thinking to update the tune to my current musical tastes and mixing skills so that i could still be able to include it my live sets and play it for you... fast forward few months later, i was happy of the new version that i felt releasing as part of my next ep "Bouncy Tales", out on Feb 2nd on Outtallectuals.

"Presenting 'Bouncy Tales'; the new four-track EP from Halfred, centered around the artist's whimsically cheerful sound. The opening track 'Slowctopus' is a bubbly halftime banger, sounding as oddly fun as a slimy sea creature moonwalking on the ocean bed, while 'Outta The Cave Man' takes the same tone and applies it to a pre-historic cabaret kind of setting. Snowons (VIP) is a polished rendition of Halfred's first contribution to Outtallectuals in 2015, upgraded for modern clarity, while Chuggington's heavier sound comes through the collaboration with producer, Know Matter. Overall, the EP's half-time / glitch DnB aura is crafted for light moments on dancefloors while maintaining the technical bass music production firmly in tact."

BIO:
Halfred is the culmination of years and years of aural exploration. Originally a drummer, the Italian born sonic warrior found his roots in drumming which led him to music production, along with a degree in electronic music production at SAE, in Milan. His eclectic approach makes it hard to categorize his music and this is partially due to the fact that his sound breaks the often repetitive mold of psy music, seamlessly taking the forms of dub, hiphop, drum n bass, garage, and world music and while staying true to his signature sound and focused on the micro details, he’s constantly experimenting with the squishy and granular side of psychedelic mid-tempo, drum and bass, dubstep, psybass and all things
psychedelic. During last years, he collaborated and remixed top notch artists like Desert Dwellers, Whitebear, Tribone, Zebbler Encanti Experience, Duffrey, Tryptich and had music released on labels such as Merkaba Music, Shanti Planti, Outtallectuals, Gravitas Recordings, Wakaan and more, as well as playing many festivals and nights in the European and North-American scene, such as Boom , Modem, Hadra, Shankra, Tribal Gathering, Own Spirit, Lost Theory, Isis Garden,Street Parade, Create Culture, Infrasound, Wormhole Wednesdays and Cosmic Sinergy Final Fridays.
