Daphne and the Fuzz is the dream pop project of Daphne Lz , singer, songwriter and videographer based in Athens, Greece . Their self titled debut album was released in 2016, and their unique sound and presence (as it is also shown in Daphne's self-directed videos) was discovered and mentioned by the international press (IX DAILY, WATM, Creative Fluff). They have opened for Lana Del Rey, Kimbra and Allah Las, played gigs in several local and national venues. Their second album "2am" was released in September 2018 by Inner Ear. "2am" is an electro pop album, inspired by the electronic and french house scene with funky grooves and dance beats, a twist of space ballads and some more introverted and psychedelic parts.
Daphne and The Fuzz are currently working on new music, experimenting with the electronic sound trying to combine it with the classic pop songwriting form, which they love so much.
