Spasmodular, a.k.a. Spasmodular Sounds from Steve's Shortwave, composes soundscapes, featuring radio frequency sounds captured among the shortwave spectrum. 
In addition to using analog shortwave radios as a medium, various electronic instruments and field recordings are utilized as well during the process. Most often, when recording, the overall mindset is to leave tracks unmastered, in their raw organic form, and mixed quickly. Some pieces may eventually be remixed properly and released at future dates on different playable formats.

Lumen Kishkumen is the experimental electronic and noise music project of Severus Mahan Kishkumen. 2011 was the project's inaugural year, and what a year it has been. Kishkumen has performed at Hal McGee's Apartment Music #11 (solo), Apartment Music #13 (with Nicholas Rejack), the Mark McGee birthday show (with Hal McGee and Nicholas Rejack), and Laboratory Music #4 (with Steve Ladensack). He has also appeared on Ilse label's Florida compilation, "Little Bunny Was So Happy," and Hal McGee's Contact Compilation vols. 1 & 2. 

I have been making my own homemade recordings of experimental, electronic, noise, tape collage, space music, improvisation, lo-fi and lo-tech audio art and music since October 1981. I have recorded and produced more than 200 albums and compilations. I was heavily involved in the early days of the homemade music Cassette Culture movement of the 1980s, and was one of the movement's original and prime motivators, organizers, and promoters.
