Hal Warren is a young rapper from Tacoma, WA. Wiser than his years, a kid brought up in climbing gyms and music venues, and who discovered hip-hop from his brother at 15, he provides a consciousness and sincerity to his listeners. Warren's gritty and old school inspired sound is supported with lyrics that combine vivid illustration with unreserved emotions. Hal graduated from Tacoma's School of The Arts and earned BA in music and a minor in German from Pacific Lutheran University. 

During his junior year of college, Hal spent a year living and studying German in Berlin. While he was studying with IES Abroad and at Berlin's Humboldt University, he became a member of DNA., "The Night Art Club Berlin," as well as a member of the primarily Spanish speaking hip hop collective Nómadas BRL. Working alongside Emcees like Polvo Just Dust from Chile, Arma G Don from Spain & PAROSE from Berlin as well as instrumentalists like Argentina based saxophonist Fefe. 

Since graduating college, Hal has joined Tacoma’s 52 collective after being a part of the Grit City Cypher for almost two years. Primarily an emcee, Hal showcases his strong production and engineering abilities on EP “Val Warinium”, A collaboration with VEALINIUM, also a 52 collective member. Within the collective he has collaborated with A.G Joints, Icarus Gray, Kingpin X, Yakoob, OGSb., and Luke Asend. Hal is currently living in Berlin studying popular music practice at the Berlin Institute of Music and Film.
