After years of writing and crafting hip-hop music, he now channels that artistic energy into DJing and producing, embracing the vibrant culture that EDM embodies. With relentless dedication, Shawn has honed his technical skills and musical prowess, learning from a network of humble friends and fellow artists. In doing so, he champions a spirit of respectful and responsible partying, ensuring that the joy of music and celebration remains at the forefront of his endeavors.

As he begins to release new music that resonates deeply with his evolving vision, Shawn is building “Structure Noise,” a company dedicated to nurturing artists, connecting creatives, and enriching the Edmonton music scene. His track Skanka has taken the world by storm and was arguably one of the biggest Dubstep tracks of 2022, with DJ Mag writing '‘Skanka’ has already proven its staying power and firmly cemented its place as a modern classic.' Hamdi has also become known for his energetic DJ sets that have already taken him to India, Australia and the United States. As 3000 Blog wrote, ‘there really aren’t many who are keeping pace with Hamdi, as he tends to fly from deck to deck, pulling the audience from left to right in a seriously thrilled multi-genre ride.’ With releases on labels such as Bassrush, Deadbeats, and Vision Recordings already under his belt, it's safe to say the future is bright for Hamdi.
