"A Bristol-based DJ/Producer with strong footing in bass, breaks, electro and other percussion-driven club genres.

With sets focused on tight, dynamic blends; Digital or vinyl, he looks to keep the mix moving consistently & push a variety of bass-centric club sounds, through both recognised and newer releases. Consistent broadcasting in recent years has seen monthly residencies with established stations like Mode London, Voices Radio and Void Radio.

Formative producing years in bass and breaks have built the beginnings of crafting a sound;
With forthcoming productions seeing the light of day via platforms like Keep Hush, BBC Introducing, Balamii, The Lot Radio, Reprezent & SWU. As that sound evolves, influences from the contemporary UK Bass scene can be heard in recent output in releases with the likes of Sudo Sound, Club Fantasy, CloudCore and more."

Vindo do Alentejo, natural de Setúbal, DJ Make Sense identifica-se por uma sonoridade no Rap, RnB e Dancehall. Nunca deixando de lado as suas raízes na cultura Hip-hop, enquanto DJ avançou com gosto também pela musica eletrónica, conseguindo assim adaptar-se a outros estilos como Afrobeat, Funk Carioca e até Afroswing. As suas atuações ao vivo são feitas sempre em freestyle, isto porque foi assim que se habituou a tocar, vendo outros companheiros de profissão a fazê-lo e assim se inspirar da mesma forma. O seu foco passa sempre pela pista de dança, ou seja, adequar a musica à vibe do público.

A sua atitude profissional e tranquila, mas ao mesmo tempo divertida, faz com que possa contar com o DJ Make Sense para festas ou eventos privados, com a sua confiança que os seus clientes ou convidados se irão divertir. A sua carreira começou em 2023, quando a primeira vez tocou ao vivo no Bar Joker, na cidade de Lisboa, seguindo-se a ser mesmo DJ de artista de Rap como X-Tense e Kappa Jotta, tocando em grandes palcos tais como, Semana Academica do Porto, de Coimbra, Festivais, Clubs. 

Mudando-se agora para a cidade invicta, Porto, espera continuar a progredir na sua carreira, a sua ambição faz com que nunca esteja estagnado mas sim, com o foco de concretizar mais sonhos pessoais.

Closer to home, Hamdi has consistently received support from the UK underground scene’s most prestigious acts, including DJ EZ, Skream, Sherelle and Mala. 

His track Skanka has taken the world by storm and was arguably one of the biggest Dubstep tracks of 2022, with DJ Mag writing '‘Skanka’ has already proven its staying power and firmly cemented its place as a modern classic.' Hamdi has also become known for his energetic DJ sets that have already taken him to India, Australia and the United States. As 3000 Blog wrote, ‘there really aren’t many who are keeping pace with Hamdi, as he tends to fly from deck to deck, pulling the audience from left to right in a seriously thrilled multi-genre ride.’ With releases on labels such as Bassrush, Deadbeats, and Vision Recordings already under his belt, it's safe to say the future is bright for Hamdi.
