Nick started of his music career as a DJ back in 2001.. Successfully playing sets at some of his favorite clubs in the country. His DJ sets are mainly focused on Hard Dance but has been known to play Tech Trance. Up there with the best of them in mixing skills Nick decided to branch out in his love for music and began to learn to produce and decided to start a vinyl record label. The label Operation 9 started in 2006 with it's first release by ''Digital Kid & Danny B'' titled: ''Punisher'' backed with a remix from Rodi Style. The label was to go on to have 5 other releases by several well respected producers in Hard Dance, Jon BW, J. Nardi, J. Dwyer, Narc, Kam-Pain, Iridium, Nick Irwin (Aftermath), Sam Townend, Jeff & Russ Sealey, Flymo & a remix by himself which was engineered by Digital Kid. After 3 years Nick decided to call it a day with OP9 & concentrate on his own productions which he'd been learning during the time of the label was running. Back in 2005 he started of where most people do, on a low budget and less complicated sequencer (Fruity Loops in his case). After several collaborations & releases with Jon BW decided to move onto Cubase SX 3 and now with Cubase 4. His first solo effort to be released on vinyl was a track called ''In Power'' which was produced in Fruity and a competition winner for Noir Records first release. His other vinyl releases include his remix of J.Nardi & J.Dwyer - Deeper & Narc's ''On Ya Marks'' under Nick, Beatnerfs & Jon BW's Hard House production name of ''JNS'. Both these remix's being released on OP9. Following that another collaboration with his good friends again Jon BW & Beatnerf. The track entitled ''Drug War''. This was to be released on the mighty Toolbox which is one of Nick's favorite labels so was big achievement for him and just made him hungry for more. Following on from that release his latest offering, another collaboration with Jon BW & Beatnerf under there new groovy Hard Dance production name: ''Don't Call Us Susan'' was released on the new CD label owned by Beatnerf. The label brilliantly titled Hard Tuna Audio (named after Nick & Stee's Hard Dance night Hard Tuna in there local night club Fusion) was the first release for the label and they’ll be many more to come and expect more collaborations with the three of them in the future. Following on from all this hard work and quest for the top, Nick has recently been signed to the Killertrax artist management alongside some of the best underground DJ & production talent around.
