Hamidreza Sharifi, born on September 19, 1984, in Shiraz, Iran, is a distinguished composer and conductor known for his innovative orchestral music. His compositions are a unique fusion of classical techniques and modern influences, reflecting his mastery in orchestration and creative expression.

Sharifi's diverse musical expertise extends to his roles as an oboist and percussionist. His oboe performances bring a distinctive melodic quality, while his knowledge of Persian percussion instruments, including the tonbak and daf, adds intricate rhythmic layers to his work.

Since 2022, Sharifi has been the Master of the Wind Section and Head of the Technical Council at the Fars Symphony Orchestra. He is also the founder of "Kaazheh," a chamber trio featuring oboe, cello, and piano, which showcases his performance and compositional skills.

His extensive education includes studies with renowned instructors such as:

-Mohammad Ali Miri for classical music theory, solfège, and Iranian music theory.
-Samad Abdi for composition, harmony, counterpoint, and orchestration.
-Navid Aghaei for music rhythm.
-Bahram Nasrallah for piano performance.
-Mohammad Shadfar for sound recording, mixing, and mastering.

With over 22 years of teaching experience, Sharifi has influenced many students at institutions such as the University of New Brunswick Conservatory of Music and various other music schools.

His performance highlights include appearances at the Dresden Arts Festival in Germany and with the Fredericton City Wind Orchestra in Canada. Sharifi has also been honored with accolades like the Appreciation Music Medal from the Dresden Arts and Music Festival.
