with Western classical, baroque and medieval themes. Their unique sound and
classic British, Python style humour has earned the five piece a strong following
in Bristol and Bath, and in their six years existing, they've twice made it to the 
regional finals of a national competition, played at Bristol's 02 Academy and 
even supported art-rock giants The Fall. Doctor Nut's sound is loud, uncompromising,
eccentric, insane and never ever without a hell of a lot of fun.

Such Small Hands is the stunning solo project from Melanie Howard, bassist and vocalist with indie guitar legends, The Wedding Present. Taking in influences including Bjork, Portishead, Chelsea Wolfe, Sharon Van Etten, Anna Calvi and Joni Mitchell, Such Small Hands blends dark pop with twinges of quirky folk and electronica.

Bursting with beaming up beat power pop, grinding grunge and dramatic changes of mood. Ham Legion's compact mini-epics dive through all this into sudden passages of twisting, complex prog back to the Englishness of 60s pop, punk and new wave, then to occasional moments of restrained delivery and somber reflection. A bizarre but compelling mish-mash of styles and influences in bite sized chunks.
