Tiago Winters is composed of two musicians, James Tiago and Stephen Winters aka CIVILANIMAL. They met on Soundcloud and decided to collaborate on a Metal L.P. titled "Burning Eyes". Tiago originated from Brazil and now lives in California. Winters originated in America and grew up in Missouri.

James Tiago writes the songs with his brutal shredding skills on the guitar. He then sends them to Stephen Winters aka Civilanimal (via e-mail) to write lyrics and record the vocals. Stephen also plays bass guitar on several songs.

Taurus Michael Detrick has played guitar and bass for over 24 years. Taurus spent the 90's playing in numerous successful bands like Tangled Grace, Shadowcaster and Thick As Thieves in the Milwaukee area and ended the decade playing in his band Project Pandemic all over the Midwest. 100's of live shows and a few different recording projects gave Taurus a vast amount of experience and he began to mentor younger musicians and bands. From 2000 on he began to teach guitar and bass full time as well as start and work for numerous youth orientated ministries.

This decade would see him grow in many ways when it came to his music career. Taurus began to book shows for bands and then moved on to booking bands for Churches and venues.

In 2006, Taurus built a small recording studio in Springfield, Missouri. He would spend the next 2 years exploring recording and producing music. 2008 brought a move to Gainesville, Florida for him and his wife Ronda to both be closer to family.

After moving to Gainesville, he continued to record and produce music and video as well as give guitar and bass lessons. In 2011 Taurus would begin to write and record his solo project “Poetic Reign” and it soon would soon take on a life of it's own and begin to grow into a epic story told with music and sound. His mixture of new age and soundtrack orchestrations mixed with heavy driving metal and rock can only be described as beautifully haunting and exhilarating at one moment and extremely passionate and hard driving the next.

Taurus Detrick's Poetic Reign debut release will be a mix of deep, flowing emotional soundscapes and extreme driving, melodic, hard rock. Taurus Detrick Brings both high energy riffs and melodic melodies to the mix as well as a vast world of sounds and ethereal music to catch the attention of the listener. A virtual wall of sound to tickle your eardrums and power enough to please anybody. Poetic Reign, where Epic Soundtrack meets Epic Metal.
