I’m a writer, infrequent blogger, poet, arts/culture junkie, and multidisciplinary nerd. 

I have a BA in English Lit and an MA in International Journalism and have done time as a communications specialist for big business and government, and currently wrangle marketing and communications for a STEM-centric not-for-profit.

When not writing or ranting about something (politics, gender (in)equality, etc.) you’ll find me reading Neil Gaiman, knitting a pair of socks, playing Elder Scrolls Online, or watching some weird foreign film or documentary. Or Star Wars. Again. Sometimes simultaneously. Also one half of YYC Vinyl, chatting music on vinyl and cassette – and other related bits and bobs that spark our fancy - with my husband.
