This Project aims to demonstrate through 4 different tracks how the blend of music and environmental sounds can immerse a listener into a tranquil state of mind and/ or place them into a specific space. This is exhibited both through the instrumentation, techniques, and textures which all carry symbiotic meaning relating to the space in which they are representing. Furthermore, it explores the ideas around contemporary classical music especially soundscape composition and electronic music, as well as contemporary choral, and the associations of these genres.
