For the exhibition Onbregrensd in Mondriaanhuis (the museum about and birthplace of Piet Mondrian) in Amersfoort, running from September 2022 till March 2023, seven composers are linked to seven visual artists. 

Dutch composer Hans Bakker (1945) was linked to Jitske Bakker and wrote Exposure for quintet.

The Keuris Ensemble recorded it in Hilversum with Frans de Rond.

This is the complete recording made for the interactive music-installation MMXVI which was presented in the Grote or Maria Magdalena Church in Goes, The Netherlands, July 2009.

The installation consisted of sixteen speakers, attached to the sixteen pillars in the nave of the church. Sixteen separate voices sing through the speakers, a sixteen part composition in celebration of Mary Magdalen. 

These voices (all recordings of the same singer) were only audible when a visitor moved between the pillars, thus activating  the sensor-triggered speakers.
Having to keep moving in order to keep the voices singing created a whole new way of experiencing not just the music, but also the beautiful architecture of this mediaeval church. The space was cleared of all furniture for this purpose.

This recording will let you hear all 16 voices at once. A CD has been made of this recording plus a sample of what it sounded like in the Grote of Maria Magdalena Church.

Clarinet trio "Breeze of Twilight" gives an associative expression to the way each of us has to go in the time to get his own inner spiritual space. The breeze in music is more a fierce wind, which expresses the eventful stirring time of the twilight period of this sublunary mundane.
