Hans Hannemann - Salinas

With his strong lyrics, gravelly voice and catchy melodies Dutch singer-songwriter Hans Hannemann translates American roots music to an entirely unique style.
He started writing songs at a young age inspired by country legends such as Kris Kristofferson and Billy Joe Shaver and the classic pop songs of the 60’s and 70’s. At the age of 20 he decided to move to Dublin, Ireland, where he began working as a bar-pianist and organ player in a gospel church.
Back in Holland he built his all-analogue studio in the countryside; Twang Wolf Recording Studio.
Years of work have resulted in a vast collection of songs that vary from melancholic and stripped down to big, dramatic and powerful. Although his heartfelt songs sometimes appear to belong to times long gone they never lack in originality. Be it in an all acoustic setting or with his rocking live band “The Lone Riders” Hans Hannemann never seizes to impress an audience.
Hans Hannemann is currently finishing up his long awaited debut Album “Makin’ up for livin’ easy”. His band consist of guitarist janPeter Hoekstra (Douwe Bob, Krezip),Bassist Maarten van Damme (Wende Snijders) and drummer Wim Geenen (Ex- Admiral Freebee).
