This month, we're joined by one of Melbourne’s most respected selectors, Cara Murphy — a standout figure in Australia’s underground scene.

Cara has held residencies at iconic venues and club nights like Onesixone and Doesn’t Matter Melbourne. She has made regular appearances at beloved spots such as Revolver Upstairs, The Emerson, and Storyville, as well as supported international heavyweights including Sasha, Monkey Safari, Mees Salomé, and Low Steppa. Cara has also performed on stages for Defected and Glitterbox tours, plus the global platform of Amsterdam Dance Event 2023.

Awarded Best DJ at the 2023 Music Victoria Awards, Cara recently stepped into production with her debut track “Dusk” on Valiant Records — a boutique underground house imprint run by Tom Evans and Jacob Malmo, under the Vicious label group.

This mix is pure journey. Hypnotic, cinematic, and built for deep listening.  

We are beyond honoured to have Cara on for this very special mix.

Inner Deep - Spectrums of Sound - Selected Episode #146 by Drew Quinn

With dance music roots that stem from a love for 2000s trance and techno, Texas-born Andrew Pinkowitz turns lifelong curiosity into creative opportunity by diving beyond the static noise of daily life into the deeper textures of organic house. Pinkowitz’s productions blend the ethereal and the melodic, creating dynamic dancefloor explorations of darkness and light. Digital life in the pandemic age brought about his first release, a collaboration with Mexico’s Ricardo Angeles released on Sound Avenue in 2022. That track, “Hidden Pathway,” was followed by entries on Nordic Voyage, Where The Shadow Ends Eclipse, Stellar Fountain, Amulanga, Keyfound, 3rd Avenue, and The Purr. His work has received support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Enamour, Eli Nissan, and Fernando Ferreyra. was featured on All Day I Dream Radio on SiriusXM Chill.

Closer to home, Pinkowitz is a collaborative leader in the lush landscapes of Colorado’s rising melodic house scene. On the decks of Denver’s Club Vinyl, Mockingbird, and The Church, he fashions discourse from downbeats, combining danceable favorites with uncommon treasures and samplings of works-in-development. Pinkowitz’s affinity with audiences forms compass points in sonic journeys, which guide his path toward innovation and evolution in the years to come.

Julie Petrecca was born in 1981 in Montreal. Since childhood, Julie is introduced to music as she grows up practically in the recording studio own by her father. He quickly transmits his passion and his interest for the world of music to his daughter.

In her late teen, she discovers Electronic music and her passion for music grows even more. All these years of musical culture and the well-kept connection to this particular universe, Julie's taste develops in several categories of Electronic music from Underground Deep House, Organic House, Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Techno ... nevertheless Julie prefers the underground sounds.

Since February 2015, Julie host her own weekly show ‘’The So What! Radioshow’’ presenting DJs and DJ/Producers from all around the world. She’s also involved in her Family radio, ‘’Radio Webphré’’

Somewhere in 1997 I signed to the national radiostation Topradio.

The First Rotationz Cd Compilation Was Released In May 2008 (3xCD, Long Versions)! >> The Best Of 5 Years Rotationz! 

The past years we've been broadcasting dj sets from all over the world by the most famous deejays (+ interviews)  & all those years we've received support from over 1000 labels worldwide. 

Over more than 18 years (till summer 2021) I broadcasted my radioshow 'Rotationz' every sunday evening on more than 20 Topradio frequencies through Belgium (Fm - streaming - dab+ & digital tv).

From September 2021 till August 2022, we broadcasted the show every sunday evening on 'The One Ibiza' & 'The One Marbella' between 21H00 and 22H00 + DanceTunes Radio (every FRIDAY between 22H00 and 24H00).

From February 2023 till December 2024, we broadcasted the show every sunday evening on 'Radio TRL' between 20H00 and 21H00.

My music style = organic house - progressive house & melodic house. 
My sound reflects lots of melodic, euphoric and atmospheric influences/elements. It's all about the emotion & the right atmosphere in the music.

The past years, I was programmed alongside deejays such as Ida Engberg, Butch, Ramon Tapia, Henry Saiz, The Freemasons, CP, Airwave, Frankie Jones, Yves Deruyter, The Mackenzie, Dave Swayze, ...

In the early years I contributed lots of interviews and music reviews for # magazines (Move-X, Outsoon, BG Update Holland).

I also produced & remixed some tracks under my moniker 'The Mystic Force'
