The Wrath-Monkey,
early in the morning,
starts his grumble-song,
scorning, thorning, without any warning,
must not take too long,

For the Wrath Monkey must feed,
he's chewing on your happy thoughts,
do not let him breed,
conquer him with what you've got,

Wrath Monkey!

Blood emetic,
playful and pathetic,
the sadist goes to town,
and I do not want to hold the Wrath-Monkey,
do not want to hold him down,

Cause the Wrath Monkey must win,
growling loins that shape the shove,
will you smash that stink face in?
or conquer yourself with your love?

Wrath Monkey, you know you are,
Wrath Monkey...speak:
"WAAAARRGH! WAAAARRGH!! WAAARRGH!!!
oooh,hoooo!
WAAAARRGH! WAAAARRGH!! WAAARRGH!!!
oooh,hoooo!"

Wrath-Monkey!

Cause the Wrath Monkey must feed,
he's chewing on your happy thoughts,
do not let him breed,
conquer him with what you've got!

She kept wondering
what might have happened
to that ring she used to wear.
She can still feel its tightness
when tracing the bone in her finger.

There had been some other life,
one she cannot remember.
Traces it of it surround her
like finds on an archeological dig.
She sometimes receives calls from strangers.

The other day, she must have held
a tiny, breathing something in her arm,
caressing it with affection.
Was it a kitten? She cannot detect
any litter in her home.

Right now, she can't help counting
down the letters in the alphabet.
Nothing adds up. Therefore, the fault
lies either in the faultlines between the numbers
and the letters or it is
her turn to vanish.
