Lorna Shore - To the Hellfire

Growing up, my stepfather was abusive towards my mother. He eventually moved on away from my family, but not without leaving behind a trail of lies entangling multiple members of my family that led to irreparable damage.

During the pandemic he contacted me in hopes he could poison mine and my siblings' minds, I wasn't having any of it - coincidentally we had just started writing the instrumentals to this song around that time.
In Guile, I brush up on these old feelings of hatred towards that sadist and let some vengeful fantasies out vocally.

A song dedicated to all who put their fortune and status in front of their relationships, and are happy to step on others to get what they want.

Throughout life we see and connect with people that view others as nothing more than stepping stones - means to achieve and get to where they want to be.
Many times we see the same behaviour in politicians, they will calculate every word in order to pull on strings only they can see - manipulating people who don't have the slightest idea they're being played.

Hate File was written on how despicable characters like these make us feel.

As a species, we have seen so much suffering by our own hand throughout history, that you'd hope in an age of so much information we would do better than perpetuate the suffering - but it seems never ending. 
Prayer of Deliverance is a cry for justice for all the innocent lives that to this day are forsaken by powerful people that could easily help them - and a prayer that the ones who kindle this suffering are some day faced with a fitting comeuppance.

Emerging from London’s underground metal scene, Harbinger have spent the past decade carving out a reputation as one of the UK’s most uncompromising and forward-thinking modern metal acts.
