This video was recorded as part of M.O.B's first Virtual Gathering Activation (VGA) series - a project created during lockdown as a way stay connected through music, from the comfort of our homes.

 M.O.B's VGA series is also aimed at highlighting the work of amazing local charities and inviting donations to support their important work.

For this edition, we supported Made in Hackney Community Cookery School and their initiative to provide free meals to the most vulnerable in the Hackney community, as a response to the Covid-19 situation.

Seems only appropriate to debut our OG cast with the sound of an OG character himself!

Tom has been involved with electronic music since the mid-90s. He is running Headspace Recordings 
(which was described in DJ Magazine as 'one of the world's finest deep techno outlets') and its sister 
label Emoticon from 1997 - 2006. As well as releasing several of his own productions on 
Headspace and Emoticon, he produced a number of deep house EPs for labels such as DiY, Nordic Trax 
and Deep Departures in the early 2000s, and held DJ residencies at both Radius in Cardiff and Traxx in Glasgow.

After taking a sabbatical from production for several years he is currently working on 
new material, both solo and as part of The Nuclear Family.

Originally from Tehran, Arman first connected with electronic music through IDM, future jazz and progressive electronics. Then came the rave-experience : his heady and psychedelic taste developed a body component, setting a blueprint for his style of playing and producing. 

Arman is also half of producer duo  @tonnovelle who over the last 2 years have been releasing some highly sought after underground gems on acclaimed labels like the Italian https://soundcloud.com/wherewemet or OSMAN from Frankfurt.
