Chillin with the boys just a couple weeks before we launched the world’s largest DDoS attack at Xbox and PlayStation network, during Christmas of 2014. This was a typical night on a mumble server full of hackers and during a normal conversation, autism erupts causing absolute chaos. It was absolutely funny and we had a good time, drunk and high, and anything goes. Haha. These are some of the people I love most and would do anything for… 

It’s interesting to note that the mumble server’s owners, both Starfall and KMS, were coincidentally the two people who created the umbreon rootkit -which interestingly enough was later used to root webnic, the registrar hacked by LizardSquad, and was further later used again to ultimately deface Lenovo and Google Vietnam. It was nice of KMS to let me design the splash screen of the rootkit, sort of like his way of saying thanks for helping him out with the testing of their rootkit (with the help of TCPSolid, and Vicious, a team effort).

On this super secret “hackers only” mumble server were often an assortment of some of my best friends including: Starfall, KMS, Spyc0, Xu0ut, Jvab (Javabooter), TCPSolid, Antichrist (LizardSquad), Alg0d, Komodo (Drag0n), MLP (DeMoN from TeaMp0isoN), XoRa, Zeekill, Conreppin, Veri, Tommy, Robby, Carlgo, and many many other Friends.

Your usual night on mumble with Starfall, KMS, Conreppin, Zeekill, and Ryan. At some point Starfall discovers that Brian Krebs had published an article about the WebNic Registrar breach which LizardSquad did but with the only exception being that Brian had included a blurb depicting both Starfall and KMS as the “hackers” who performed the attack. 

Brian failed to understand that the rootkit was developed primarily by two former members of HTP, Starfall and KMS. Zeekill had just gotten out of prison not two months prior and wasn’t even involved with this attack… 

So essentially Brian didn’t make it clear that it was indeed their rootkit, but it was LizardSquad who used an injection vulnerability within webnic.cc to upload their rootkit to the registrars hosting and obtain auth codes aka “EPP” transfer codes, and then ultimately control the dns configuration for Lenovo and Google Vietnam.

Just a Skype call with Shiro aka “Malwaremustdie” from early 2015. It’s almost comical with how wrong Shiro had been regarding Starfall especially after she came out as Trans. Almost like it was the opposite of what Shiro was saying that Starfall would cross dress in front of people she didn’t care about, in hindsight she was probably most comfortable around those who she was where she could just be herself and express herself the way she wanted to be seen.
