BodyMind Synchronized / Joel Shane - Brainspotting consultant - This music for Brainspotting is asymmetrically panned, for use at the lowest audible volume,  in a therapeutic modality which is David Grand’s departure from EMDR. Brainspotting finds the optical location of a client's gaze that synchronizes with memories, beliefs, somatic experiences etc. to process trauma, enhance performance, dissolve dissociative barriers, and is a massively flexible, nonpathologizing approach.
Instead of Bilateral music used in EMDR which symmetrically pans left-to-right in an even predictable pattern, David Grand's "Biolateral" music shifts unpredictably in order to facilitate wakefulness and integration of experience, rather than the fostering of hypnotic or 'sleepy' brain states. The subcortical access offered by Brainspotting seems to be increased with this method.

My goal is to create more, accessible soundscapes and tracks for Brainspotting.

Biolateral minimal ambient music for Brainspotting; asymmetrical panning in stereo; made with one analog Prophet synthesizer, two chords, and external reverb effects and produced in Ableton; with Colin Foster.
Also for ketamine therapy sessions.

Lateral Ambient Minimal

Ambient biolateral 93 minute track:
ocean sounds recorded on the island of Hawaii, 
bird sounds, 
a heartbeat pulse around 60 BPM, 
various instrumentation with lots of space, 
panned left-right in asymmetrical intervals. 

Panning is generally soft to avoid distracting/uncomfortable ear muscle tightening / discrepancies, with some moments of hard, full-panning to avoid entrainment and periodically wake the brain during Brainspotting processing.

May be suitable for some KAP uses.

Meant to lean on the inner edge of chintzy 90s new age relaxation CDs.
