Het eerste grote evenement georganiseerd door ID&T was The Final Exam op 19 juni 1992 in de Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch en 20 juni 1992 in de Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. De organisatie deed haar inspiratie op bij onder andere de evenementen van Multigroove. De eerste Thunderdome vond plaats op 3 oktober 1992 in Heerenveen. Thunderdome groeide midden jaren 90 al snel uit tot een van de bekendste rave-evenementen en het bekendste hardcore-evenement van Europa. Vanaf 1993 werd Thunderdome ook in Duitsland, Italië, Australië, België, Frankrijk, Zwitserland en Spanje gehouden. Dit waren voornamelijk de zogenaamde "on-tourparty's". Later werden er in vele Europese landen Thunderdome-evenementen gehouden.

Thunderdome begon met vier dj's, namelijk DJ Dano (Daniël Leeflang), DJ The Prophet (Dov Elkabas), DJ Gizmo (Ferry Salee) en DJ Buzz Fuzz (Mark Vos), ook wel bekend als The Dreamteam. Dano, The Prophet & Buzz Fuzz vormden reeds het "Multigrooves" Dreamteam. ID&T voegde daar Gizmo aan toe. Later draaiden of verzorgden onder meer de volgende artiesten optredens op Thunderdome: Neophyte (Jeroen Streunding), Angerfist (Danny Masseling), DJ Panic, Darkraver (Steve Sweet), 3 Steps Ahead (Peter-Paul Pigmans), DJ Dana (Dana van Dreven), DJ Korsakoff, DJ Promo, Bass D & King Matthew en Ruffneck.

Door het succes van Thunderdome ontstonden ook andere hardcorefeesten, zoals Hellraiser, A Nightmare in Rotterdam, Masters of Hardcore en Hellbound.

Naast de verschillende feesten werden ook tientallen cd's uitgebracht door Thunderdome. Ben Liebrand was degene die de kenmerkende hoezen ontwierp voor deze Thunderdome CD-serie, als ook de 3d-animaties voor de tv-reclames.

Het Thunderdome-evenement werd vooral in de jaren 90 gehouden maar vond tot eind 2012 nog steeds jaarlijks plaats in onder andere de Utrechtse Jaarbeurshallen en werd door een dochteronderneming van ID&T georganiseerd. Bezoekers in het bezit van een Thunderdometattoo (de Wizard of het geschreven Thunderdomelogo) hadden gratis toegang tot deze feesten.

In december 2012 zou de allerlaatste Thunderdome worden georganiseerd in de Amsterdam RAI. Desondanks vond in 2017 weer een editie plaats en werd er ook in 2019 een editie georganiseerd.

Hoyer recorded his first songs and mixes in 1993 when he was around eleven or twelve years old. He did this with the help of keyboard and cassette recorders. In 1995 he started using the computer for his music. He was able to release his music in demo form through the Ruffneck label and so he was eventually picked up by DJ Ruffneck (Patrick van Kerckhoven) in 1998, when he was sixteen, and he got a contract for his two labels, Gangsta and Supreme Intelligence. He didn't have a real permanent name then; his first songs came under the name Trypticon and later the name Ophidian followed. At first he did not achieve much success, but enough to be offered a new contract in 2001 by Enzyme Records. There he was given the space he was looking for, to be seriously involved with music and school, where he also did a music direction. He built his own recording studio. A little later he also founded the sub-label Enzyme X.

Ophidian's real breakthrough came after he released the song "Butterfly VIP". Thanks to this song he played at many parties like Thunderdome and Masters of Hardcore.

Deathmachine has been actively involved in the underground Hardcore scene since 1998. He started out like most people by going to raves around the UK. After falling in love with Hardcore Techno and dancing away at raves during the mid-90’s, he soon wanted to connect further with the music. He started DJ’ing and after a year secured his “first gig” in Scotland at “The Underground”, run by Simon Underground. After that, he worked his way through the ranks playing around the UK, and has now played at nearly every major Hardcore Techno event in the country.

The next step on from DJ’ing was production. Stef started dabbling in production around 2000 and (with the help and tuition of DJ Traffik) released his first track on Corrupt records in 2001. The next few years were spent developing and experimenting but soon more tracks followed, including notable releases on the iconic Rebelscum and Deathchant labels. His early productions were focused on futuristic Hardcore Techno which incorporated breakbeats (the now typically defined UK sound). Soon, a connection was made with The Dj Producer who supported Deathmachine’s sound greatly, and eventually they worked together on various releases which included the very successful track “Pixelshifter” on Rebelscum.

Around 2009, the emerging Crossbreed sound grabbed his attention. Always a lover of DnB, and a history of trying to fuse his Hardcore with breakbeats and DnB, meant that this style was just a natural progression. He began writing Crossbreed tracks and found great inspiration and newfound ideas as a result. Recognition and support from The Outside Agency lead to 2 very successful solo releases on Genosha One Seven Five proving his position at the forefront of Crossbreed. Deathmachine has also worked with Switch Technique (Union Recordings) and Forbidden Society (Forbidden Society Recordings) both on solo and collaborative projects which were also well received. Since then, he has been a regular contributor to Genosha One Seven Five and PRSPCT XTRM, firmly establishing him as one of the leading producers in this genre. Other releases and remixes have appeared on The Third Movement, Industrial Strength Records, Neophyte Records, Pacemaker and many more.

Always active in the studio, his focus is on creating powerful genre-pushing (but still of course danceable) music that engages the listener on a number of levels. His background in underground Hardcore along with his new work in the direction of Crossbreed and DnB results in great diversity both in the studio and in the clubs.
