Now based in Lyon, Florian Grangier is an artist of the French techno scene since 2009. It was under the name of Don Serata that he started to play before creating his first tracks.

From 2011, he took part in an EP with the label @french-frequency-records, then several tracks and EPs in Europe and the USA (Coco Machete, Macro Records, Deal With It). Wishing to be more autonomous and curious to discover new talents, he created in 2014 his own label @unusual-records to broadcast his music and support other artists, while performing in local clubs (DV1, Life City, 101, Ninkasi, Maison Mère, Terminal, …).

Full of resources and surprises, this versatile and passionate artist will catch the attention, as was the case in 2018 with @nina-kraviz who caught up his track London in her own DJ sets.

In 2019, after 10 years of mix and production, he takes a new identity and becomes Amour Noir, a confirmation of a style and a state of mind, committed to asserting a techno music that is both powerful and attractive.

MOTZ Premiere: SWART - Hope and Despair [HRDVA003]

This mix was recorded in one take with digital records. The concept behind this was to create something positive and uplifting with easy listening and mixing for the afterparty chill sesh, the chill itself, a psychedelic/grass influenced trip, or even a Springtime spaziergang. Totally downtempo at 100bpm all the way through with ambient, breaks, IDM, and mushroom jazz elements. It was tons of fun to dig into my collection and find some old gems to blend with the new. That being said, I present to you - Mushroom Magic.

Podcast 359 is from Berlin-based DJ, producer and co-founder of PUSH Network. We love how she plays with the energy dynamic throughout this set with skilful use of layering. And in the intro, listen out for Grimes as a fun reminder of her recent Coachella set, something the artists says she "simply couldn't resist".

Caniche is a regular in Berlin’s most renowned booths including RSO and Tresor but she is heard and loved by fans of Hardgroove all over Europe from Berlin via Vienna to London, Paris and Madrid. Oscillating between tooly, rough and funky, her sets are packed with rap-reminicient vocals and tribal elements – while old school percussions build
the rhythmic foundation.

Co-running PUSH Network, Caniche is one of three residents, hosting the New Faces residency at Tresor. PUSH hosts workshops and reoccurring events in Berlin and Vienna. The network fights for more visibility and equal treatment of FLINTA artists in the electronic music scene. Connecting people across Europe, PUSH aims to be a source of support, inspiration and new approaches in the industry.
