"Out of the genre trap" is a track made with the purpose of feeling free to experiment with sound without being trapped in a certain genre or way to see and produce music.

Set up: Elektron Analog Rytm mk2, Elektron Digitakt, Elektron Digitone and Modal Cobalt8X.
Everything was recorded in Ableton and then edited and mixed in Pro Tools.

Behind this project is Iván Casique. from Zamora, Michoacán, Mexico. At the age of 13, he began to discover the world of psychedelia through electronic music. In his desire to listen to more energetic and dizzying music, he discovered darkpsy and forest. This is how he decided to start his PolyBius project, with the aim of expressing his conception of life and musical art through a style that brings together his influences from Darkpsy and Forest.
Dimensions is a material of sound therapy, slow beat heavy kick and bassline with a presence of darkpsy swamp style complemented by pads and deep atmospheres to give a touch of mystic forest, the main feature of the PolyBius project. The use of hardware synthesizers is present in the aggressive leads. Adding a touch of irony with samples of Latin American writers can make us open our minds to other dimensions. Finally, very lively percussive elements are added that navigate from one place to another.

Fortement influencée par la culture UK, elle apprécie également mélanger des énergies et des univers différents, pour faire appel à un panel émotions tout en créant un univers aussi groovy que sombre !

Actrice de la scène électronique locale depuis 2017, elle cumule différentes expériences associatives.

Fondatrice du média 129BPM et chargée de communication pour le collectif Epicure, elle cherche à défendre les valeurs de la scène rave et underground, à travers une vision moderne et pédagogique.

Son set s’inspire tout droit de l’univers et de l’atmosphère des free party du sud de la France.
Entre tribe old school et tribe mental distordue, ce podcast fait honneur aux artistes émergents de la scène tekno !
