As many of you may know loving and caring for one another is something we stand by and is something much needed in these trying times. If this year has been hard on anyone it is those who unfortunately became a refugee. That is why we have decided to support those in need. Because there is very little we can individually do, our common goal is to raise money for various charities, so they can do the work we can not.
Because music has the ability to cheer up, heal and connect those who listen to it, it is music through which we hope to help. In the past few months we have started collaborations with 13 artists. Every single one of them has made a masterpiece for us to put together into an album named “Ishtar”. This album is to celebrate the good things, heal and give hope to those who need it.

HRDF: Who are you ?
J: I am Jackit - real name Eugene DJ from Kaliningrad city from western part of Russia.

HRDF: How did you discover this track ?
J: In fact my good friend Kostya Isaev aka Volta Cab / Rambal Cochet showed me this track in 2017. Original track was released in 1992 via the Italian label Interactive Test, autor Steve Mantovani DJ and producer from Italy.

HRDF: Why do you choose to edit it ?
J: Still then I wanted to do with this track something. I was very hooked by Indian chant mixed with oldschool rave groove but I forgot about it for whole four years and only remembered this year when I was looking for ideas for my edits.

HRDF: What are your upcoming plans ?
J: Of course keep making music. Upcoming plans to release a full-length EP and I am currently creating a remix for a French label due out in September 2022.

And as today we celebrate the Armenian Christmas, Acid Pauli   and I have a gift for you! 

Here is a track we made for our Cercle live in Armenia at Garni Temple. It was not supposed to be released but many of you asked for it so we realized that music has to be shared. Specifically when there is a purpose. 

As a matter of fact, all proceeds will go to charity ArmeniaFund to help my country which is facing an unprecedented crisis. 
I feel lucky (and sometimes guilty) being born in France while all my brothers and sisters have to undergo the Armenian chaotic system. 
We are the same people, the same blood, but we don’t have the same chances. And when we created our home Rambalkoshe we knew that Music and Art would be the answer. As soon as Martin - Acid Pauli stepped in our little house, he immediately understood. There I met a brother for life. Always here to support. Always here to spread love. So honest. So generous. Simple words or even silences say a lot. We shared so much. This mutual love and respect became a trigger for so many incredible projects coming this year… Looking forward to present them!

We're thrilled to present Camel Riders Records new release titled 'Minayo' by the French-Moroccan-based producers Sound of Mint, incl. remixes by DIBIDABO, Yamagucci, Feller, Salmani, Carla Valenti. The Live electronic musicians and producers Sound Of Mint are serving us in their debut EP on Camel RIders, three colorful and mesmerizing originals: 'Sama Bena' and 'Minayo' featuring the exceptional Kora player from Senegal, Mbemba Diebate, in addition to the EP theme track 'Kolinga'. Sound Of Mint's originals navigate through the vast landscapes of West Africa, creating an impeccable fusion of traditional instruments and rhythms, epic vocals, and organic elements which are all coated with fine electronic melodies and beats, suited for a wide range of moods and settings. First, we have 'Sama Bena' and 'Minayo' which both display an uplifting and warm atmosphere, combining divine Kora sounds, hypnotizing vocals, and captivating melodies with fine electronic sounds. The third original by Sound Of Mint is 'Kolinga', the EP theme track which combines funky traditional melodies, Guitars, organic percussions, wooden sounds, synths, and intoxicating tribal vocal fragments, which create all together with a fresh World Music Bluesy tune. 40 Thieves are back on Roam Recordings, teaming up with vocalist Alona to release their latest cosmic disco gem, 'Shake You Off'. Fans of the trio (Layne Fox, Corey Black, and Jay Williams) might recognize them from the dancefloor classic 'Don't Turn it Off (I Think I Like It)', their eclectic album 'The Sky is Yours', or their previous Roam hit 'Take Me I'm Yours'.

This new single delivers a dancefloor-ready track featuring Alona's vocals layered over lush electronic melodies.

The release also features two standout remixes from Roam Recordings alumni Shubostar and label boss Jason Peters. Shubostar kicks things off, maintaining the warm, inviting vibe while introducing a dash of Italo disco flair. Famous for featuring the crème de la crème of the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene, the mighty San Francisco-based powerhouse Roam Recordings releases its first EP of the ongoing revolution around the sun: The suitably titled “Dance Therapy”, by rising & shining Colombian artist Nicolás Saavedra a.k.a. Kabinett, treats our ailments with two out-of-the-box originals and three magnificent remixes made with love by none other than Hardway Bros, Zillas On Acid, and Jason Peters, the label honcho himself.

With well-received appearances on Internasjonal, Kaputt.wav, Playground, Sonido Moderna, Boite Music, Discos Platino, and Duro, just to name a few, Nicolás has established himself as one of the most interesting acts of the current South American electronic music soundscape by delivering a colourful output filled with references from many a genre of the past, twisted and adapted to the modern taste of the audiences out there.

Premiered here, Zillas On Acid’s take on “Catching Up With Reality” comes embedded on, guess what, an insurmountable amount of acid, the specialty of the boys. In a time in which a faster-and-faster pace reigns on the dance floor, decreasing the BPM of an original for a remix is a bold move. That’s exactly what Thomas & James did: The 122 to 110 drop turned the theme into a completely different experience and added an extra procedure to the successful therapy.

AIKON returns to Exploited with an EP of dark moods and sensual melody.

The title track is a dark slice of Italo disco / electro, with taut snares cutting through the droning bass and hypnotic synth arpeggiation. Building imperceptibly through subtle atmospheric touches, the track reaches a spine-tingling peak in the spacious breakdown, where synths soar and the acidic bass gets a moment in the spotlight. A voice breathes the word ‘acid’ as the beat kicks back into life, completing the tripped out feel of this moody chugger.

‘Galaxy’ is driven along by a hefty bassline throb, soon bolstered by monotone acid tones and infectious cowbell rhythm. Blasts of synths tease as we head towards the heavenly breakdown, where beautiful sampled guitar melody rubs up against floaty, ambient pad sounds. The contrast between the guitar and the moody bass sounds when the beat drops back in is magical, channeling some of that ‘90s dreamhouse energy as gated, shimmering chords add another sumptuous motif.

‘Heroes’ is a little more on the melodic techno tip but keeps the textures and themes of the EP running through it. Moving at a languid tempo, the track focuses around a simple, blissed-out, ecstasy-imbued hook and a chugging bass rhythm. The switch from a 4/4 thump to a breakbeat rhythm halfway through shifts the mood brilliantly, and throughout subtle changes eke out more beauty from this heads-down affair.
