'Legend of Sheitan' is the third EP of the french evil duo Sheitan Brothers (Patrick Lallemand & Pierre-Marie Oullion) who team up for the occasion with on of the most prolific french house producer so called Sampling As An Art (aka S3A) Max Fader. Together they create Sh3itAn an artistic project who plan to combine the worldwide music digging knowledge of the duo with the groove and the technic of S3A. Before this ep they self release a first attempt two years ago with an edit of a french boogie song from the early 80's turn into an acid slow disco track named 'Parfum d'Acid'. After this they decide to come back back with a big EP (5 tracks) after an intense producing work in 2020.

HRDF: Who are you ?
N & G: We are neskeh and Grogush, friends from childhood

HRDF: How did you discover this track ?
N & G: Gautier (Grogush) the master of afromusic digging discovered it during his travel in Cotonou, Benin 🇧🇯

HRDF: Why do you choose to edit it ?
N & G: It was Christmas Day, we were together alone in his place, listening his last digs. I enjoyed a lot the percussion at the beginning of the track and so we decided to sample it to make an edit.
Gautier has a lot of instruments at his place so we decided to keep the organic touch and we recorded all the instruments one by one.
As an acid lover, I put an acid touch to make it a little more electronic :)

HRDF: What are your upcoming plans ?
N & G: Upcoming plans are to make more edits together. And I also work on an Ep in solo. Stay tuned

HRDF: Who are you ?
GG: Gael Juárez aka Gael Gael, DJ and producer from the city of Puebla, Mexico.

HRDF: How did you discover this track ?
GG: I have always been passionate about music and, one day while exploring Discogs, I came across this song that seemed quite avant garde for it to be from 83.

HRDF: Why do you choose to edit it ?
GG: Because I like the mix of genres combined within the track which are some musical references that I like like hip hop/electronic music. The melodies mainly seemed fascinating to me so I decided to take the most interesting parts and imagine editing it in my style to give it more dynamics for the dance floor.

HRDF: What are your upcoming plans ?
GG: Working on original music for upcoming releases and keep making edits... I love edits! Stay tuned.

HRDF: Who are you?
D: I am Dacou, a DJ/producer based out of Toronto. 

HRDF: How did you discover this track?
D: I saw a local ad in Toronto for somebody wanting to get rid of some old Arabic cassette tapes, so naturally I was curious. Turns out it was an elderly gentleman who had them, and they had belonged to a lady from Egypt who he was in love with over thirty years ago. Unfortunately things didn’t work out between them and she went back home, leaving their love unfulfilled. He never saw her again and these tapes were all that were left of her, but in his old age he felt it was right to pass them on. This tape was amongst them. 

HRDF: Why do you choose to edit it?
D: After discovering this song and coming to know it was in fact a love song, a declaration of love - I thought it was a fitting ode to the gentleman who had given me the tapes, while serving as modern dance-floor friendly refresher of a great Algerian Raï track. 

HRDF: What are your upcoming plans? 
D: To keep digging for gems and dropping betters!

HRDF: Who are you?
MRN: My name is Gal Goldman aka Mr Right Now, 21 years old producer from Tel Aviv / Paris, started my way as a selector dj in Tel Aviv a few years ago and I’m really inspired by Italo disco , French electronic music and alternative music from the 80s.

HRDF: How did you discover this track?
MRN: I discovered Rupa with a recommendation of my girlfriend maya in a vinyl store in paris, in the moment I listened to her album I decided that my fusion will work well with her tracks so I contacted her and got her permission to put it out as a official release.

HRDF: Why do you choose to edit it?
MRN: I choose to edit this track because Rupa took out only 4 songs out in public and I loved the amazing touch of ethnic Hindi vibe with the disco in her tracks and she did it like no other.

HRDF: What are your upcoming plans?
MRN: My upcoming plans are moving back after a few months from Tel Aviv to Paris and to release an electronic original EP that mixes all of my various music taste in to one.

HRDF: How did you discover this track?
O: I was digging’ here in Venice in a very nice vinyl store (Spazio 432Hz) with a super and very large selection of 90’s and early ’00 trance, progressive and techno wax, searching’ for the 45rpm to play at 33rpm to achieve the Trance-A-Lento long lasting effect and this Italian gem comes by my hands, the artwork was epic and when I putted it on the plate I fell into a total state of trance %). Love at first sight

HRDF: Why do you choose to edit it?
O: Because I got it just on vinyl :D so I chose to make an edit playing
something more on and pitching down (a lot) the whole track making it completely different from the artist's initial idea (the original mix I choose to edit is pure trance at 130 or more bpm)

HRDF: What are your upcoming plans?
O: Got 2 releases which I’m very proud of, the first one will be in January on UK’s Trule Rec (Al Wootton's own imprint) and the second one will be in March/April : a 12” on Multi Culti

P: Music lover. Dj. Producer. Brazilian. Living in France. Always looking for the sun =)

HRDF: How did you discover this track?
P: I heard it in another song also as a sample. It really got me somehow trapped into it, and it makes me want to do my own version. 

HRDF: Why did you choose to edit it?
P: The song chose me. Kidding...hehe. Well, it has been a while that I wanted to do something special to HardFist, it finally matched perfectly with the vibes I wanted to put in this edit. 

HRDF: What are your upcoming plans?
P: Well. Right now I'm touring between Colombia and Ivory Coast, so kind of living the dream of sharing music with people.  Until the end of the year, I still (fortunately) have some gigs.
I'm releasing a 8 tracks EP with two remixes of two of my fav artists at the end of January  for Cracki Records. 
In February/Mars will be doing some release parties in France. I'm really looking forward to it.

Lithuanian upstart Zakmina returns to Roam Recordings with two new stunning originals backed by ace remixes from Donald Dust and Roam alum Fabrizio Mammarella. The title track,Viral News, is a pulsating 80s infused thriller that builds with driving energy. Caroline takes it a bit deeper with its intricate synth work while keeping it big and moving. Up first on remix duty is Donald Dust who reworks the title track into freestyle territory with its rhythmic play of the original's 80s vibe. Rounding out the EP is Fabrizio Mammarella's psychedelic acid take on Caroline that has early morning warehouse written all over it.
