  Adi Taala Pattern with a Punjabi Flava.one of the Improvised Phrases are inspired by Ustad Zakir Hussain,s Baya Work.it,s been almost over 20 years since i heard the Tabla Solo on Shakti,s Natural Elements..i listened to that Solo so many Times and only very recently started to enjoying the Double Bass Work

Alola celebrate their 19th year with a very special Lana Del Rey double header remix package.
 
One of the biggest female artists to emerge in recent years, Lana Del Rey’s rise to worldwide notoriety began with  “Video Games & Blue Jeans", both of which have received the Omid 16B remix treatment and will be released on a limited run of 12-inch vinyl, as well as digitally.
 
Omid was approached by Universal as one of the first to remix ‘Video Games’ alongside legends such as Larry Heard and Moodymann. Following his well-received mix of ‘Video Games’ he was then also asked to remix ‘Blue Jeans’.
 
Omid’s remixes explore different styles of the tech house sound he’s famed for, that all steer towards the 4 am territory where things can get crazy and off the wall. Both mixes capture the elements of surprise and anticipation, showcasing Lana Del Rey’s unique vocal style in a completely new light.
 
Out December 10th on vinyl and digitally two weeks later, Omid 16B’s remixes of Lana Del Rey are the perfect Christmas gift for 2012.
