this track is a cover from an old DAF track from the early 80ties named "was ziehst du an heut nacht"
i performed it just with machines, like monomachine, machinedrum and some more in a live-session with no cuts. instead of the voice i add some new melodies and sounds.

Chicagoan Mike Dearborn's classic '1991 (A New Age)' was originally released as 'Armando presents Mike Dearborn' on Musique Records back in... yip – you guessed it – 1991. It was Mike's début EP, so to be taken under Armando's wing was quite an accolade. 21 years later Slam revisit the track, bringing a new, techno-inspired light to this classic Chicago house record. Rumbling sub-bass and fizzing, minimalist percussion is built around the original strings to masterful effect.
