...The Pjs started with myself, Jeff, I had just moved out and with my friend Pete. Both of us played guitar so it wasn’t long before  4 years went by and as The Pjs wrote almost 4 albums of material. With Pete busy Rick has stepped in for Bass duties and lots of writing. Now known as The Evolution, we will be releasing acoustic demos till the studio recordings are finished. I also will be posting songs under the name Mandatory Misery, comprised of my unused material that I love and would love for all of you to hear as well. Being released in the way of acoustic demos till electric. And there just might be some other hidden surprises that can’t be revealed yet. Keep a close ear out 👂 Thank you !!!!!!

Konrad is the musical expression of Rock Island, Illinois resident Jeffrey Konrad. Konrad's music puzzles together a unique brand of vocal poetics with a sorted sonic DNA that exhibits strains of indie, folk and electronic. Konrad has released music in the past on various record labels including: Deep Elm, Future Appletree and Diskatopia as well as Radical Turf (an imprint he founded with the purpose of releasing compilation albums and various solo material). In a previous incarnation, Konrad released experimental electronic music under the moniker "Robot USA" as well as some folksy singer-songwriter musings as "Struggle in the Hive" (a collaboration with Patrick Stolley). Konrad's debut album "Loose Canyons" charted on the CMJ Top-200 upon it's release in 2008. Konrad's recent effort "Shadow Boxing" (Radical Turf) unites the many various musical styles that Konrad draws inspiration from into an eclectic and cohesive musical statement. Shadow Boxing, recorded over the course of 2 years, is a panoramic of an artist documenting the ups and downs of everyday and not-so-everyday routine. Konrad's Shadow Boxing displays a diversity and originality of sound which transcends the conventional.
 


 




Who the fuck am I, I am kikkinhard, I am a passionate hobby DJ and hobby producer with not intention or desire to gain wealth or attain fame from music, I am proudly 100% self educated musically and have received no formal or informal musical training in any way, Musical genres I am most comfortable mixing are schranz, powerstomp, uk hardcore, freeform, hard trance, hardstyle, hard nrg, hard house, goa, psytrance, acid trance, dubstep, metalstep, chillstep, mellowstep, melodystep, trap, grime, electro house and other forms of hard as fuck massive sounding modern electronic pounderz.
I am most comfortable at tempos of 170 bpm to around 190 bpm. (I will sometimes push the tempo up to 120 bpm, if the vibe is right).
 would also be happy as fuck if anybody has any advice or feedback that may help me to further my knowledge, improve my technique and give me a different perspective that i can utilize to observe my hobby from an objective and critical point of view. 
i aspire to continue to self educate, improve and evolve my skill set and further my understanding of music.
my biggest skill based assets are, genre identification, genre comprehension, vast knowledge of artists and titles within my vast library of music, record label recognition, and my ability to experiment and find new techniques.
