Thanks to the conservation, curation, and contribution of the original "OG" cassette recording of this particular evening by my close friends from back in the day, brother and sister Justin and Debbie Deleo, I present to you what very well may pre-date the just released "March 29, 1991" mix from Simons. Judging by the track selection, this was most likely from January of 1991, considering the plethora of records played were records that I picked up in Philadelphia over the holiday break at shops such as 611 Records, Tower Records, and Funk-O-Mart. Some of the more notable tracks featured here are the esoteric, afro-tinged late 1990 release on Strictly Rhythm records of E-Culture's "Tribal Confusion", the very first release of the collaboration of Josh Wink and my old high school buddy, King Britt, and, at the other end of the spectrum (because that's how we did it back then), everybody's guilty pleasure, C & C Music Factory's - "Gonna Make You Sweat" (Everybody Dance Now).
