Breakbeat Paradise Recording is back with the fifth installment of the epic Toxic Funk – 7” donut series. 
For the next 45 we have called upon Crash Party (one half of Hardly Subtle with Aldo Vanucci) to sprinkle his production magic over 2 funked up, sample led tracks to get any dancefloor moving! 

Crash Party dropped his debut EP on the legendary Ghetto Funk label, with follow up EPs on Scour Records and Cuttin’ It Fine Recordings. He’s remixed tracks on the U.S. based labels Dead2Me and Roaring City. 
Crash Party’s crowning glory, to date, was collaborating with Dutty Moonshine Big Band on the #metoo alternative anthem “Fever”, from their top 40 album “City Of Sin”

We are chuffed to have Crash Party #crashtheparty with these 2 slices of breakbeat funk to get heads nodding and feet tapping.
Following up on Second Hand Audio’s Vol. 4 release in the series, you are in store for some skilled sample selections, some classic funky breaks and a perfectly timed Hip-Hop vocals.

The lead track, Dirty Glass, sees the combination of “One Way Glass” with “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” blended together with extra beats and grooves for dancefloor flavour... 
A modern-day classic in the making!  
On the flip side we go deeper into the world of funk with World Gone Def, a skilled re-editing of “People Make The World Go Round” as the main music accompaniment to the vocals of Hip-Hop anthem “Release Yo Delf”. Add to this extra funky beats, vocal samples and a smidge of rock guitar sampling for good measure!        

As the electronic funk scene changes and adapts, some things remain best untouched. The sample-based beats and grooves is here to stay and the sound of the Old Skool is still as fresh as it comes.

Review
As always with Big Fat Mama Beats, they have come to put on a show with this latest addition to their 'Funk Bananas' compilation series, which enters its fourth edition with a dash of finesse. The combination of psychedelic melodies and groovy drum designs that lie at the heart of every track are what give the project a fantastic level of cohesion, from the uplifting horn toots and lively vocals of Pecoe's 'Funky Individual' to the more old school drum patterns and spacey textures of Rory Hoy & Countertop Hero's 'Something In The Air'. The whole project hosts a pretty professional vibe, with the likes of Sir-Vere, The Funk Philosopher, Sonale, The Criminal Minds and more all making wavy additions. Our favourites from the project have to include the monstrous bass pulsations and techy arpeggios of B.U.U.G's 'Dancin Time', next to the Chubby Robots rework of 'Space Time' from Adrenalinez and Wiccatron's lively percussive masterclass in 'Funk Dribble.

Breakbeat Paradise Recording is back with another
crispy edition of the Toxic Funk 7-inch donut series. This
time inviting the Funkin’ Basstards producer duo to do their magic and bring some Toxic Funk vibes with 2 authentic funk joints regooved to perfection by 2 of scene’s best beat smiths.
The Toxic Funk series is tabbing into a craze of recycled old funk and soul and do edits that stays true to the vibes of the 60s and 70s but still has enough punch to put into a modern day funky DJ set. Funkin Basstards has followed that recipe to perfection on both jams on this single.

Starting off with the contagious A-Side track called Fire – which showcases a classic soul party vibe track mixed with some Funkin Basstards breakbeats to keep it toxic. Followed up with the equally party rockin’ soul joint Reasons which takes us back to the 60s soul era with some sweet soul sister vocals and a good doze of Funkin Basstards beats and breaks to go with it.

With 2 EP release and a remix EP under their belt on BBP we felt it was about time to get these boys on a vinyl – and boy are we glad we did!

Pecoe is back on Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and he&rsquo;s brought a dream team of remixers to put together the volume 2 of his Funk Anthmns series. The first volumns dropped back 2020 and included 5 original jams and some big remixes from some of big names in the funky breaks scene. Volume 2 is no different with 5 new funky bangers from the Pecoe beatmaster himself and remixes coming from dirtyFly &amp; Bodex, discObeta, FunkinRight &amp; Ross Go.
Kicking things off with the dancefloor friendly Sucker U Missed followed by a remix from the Aussie producer duo dirtyFly and Boydex who&rsquo;s added some additional bass to it.Following a similar forumal on the 2nd track called Babe which see a clever remix from the always reliable discObeta who brings out some big solid grooves on his remix of Babe.
