Hailing from Perth & Melbourne, 5 Piece electro disco pop outfit "Silent Disco" is a new project that oozes soul disco and funk-pop extravaganza. After returning from Berlin Carlos Tomich aka DJ Anonymous (The LA-DJ's) teamed up with ex-Carnation Drummer Peter Gatt. Together, this strange pairing of ex-rockers decided to give it a go at creating dance pop music  collectively created "Silent Disco". Shorlty after recording a few Demo's Sophia Kato joined the Group to give it a galactic mix of Prince-esc style vocals and that soul disco feel.

Gluteus Maximus - Collective, Netlabel, Lifestyle

We are an Electrocollective based in Stockholm, Sweden, aiming to provide you with the best of the best in what we like to call "Köttelectro" witch directly translates to meatelectro. We work on releases and arranging concerts, raves and clubnights, but this aint your average club music - this is dirty, nasty, fat and bad to the bone. Moshpits are not uncommon.

This is the 1988 demo of the German hardcore band "Deadlock" formed in 1985, split-up in 1990 (?).
Not to be confused with other active bands with the same name. There are at least two from Germany.
This is a very special upload for me. I found an old demo tape of my very very first band. I was 17 when I started playing guitar and as a matter of skill the only music I was able to make was Hardcore. I was laughing out loud when I heard this tape 20 years after recording it and so many memories came back to my mind. First I felt a bit ashamed, because of the dilettantism of the tracks, but after a while I changed my mind - hey, it was the 80ies and I was a kid! The studio recorded on tape (you can hear it at the beginning of some tracks), the guitars have been evil, there was no Internet and no home recording except on a cheap lo-fi tape recorder to rehearse ... and we had no fucking clue!!!
In fact it's a part of my life and I don't want to miss it. It was a crazy time, we've been a bunch of young and crazy freaks and we had so much fun (well, at least in my memory, haha).
Maybe there are some people out there who remember Deadlock from Nuremberg, Germany (I guess you must be an old fart like me).
