So this is the first upload from my trip to India. This me kind of caught me by suprise! We were travelling up to Munnar by bus and on the way pulled into a terminal with loudspeakers blearing out this Female vocal I managed to grab the sound just in time and luckily the bus driver turned off his engine at the perfect moment. I've thrown this into Ableton and messed with it a bit. Peace.

On A Bus In Kerela

First morning in India I heard the morning prayer through the window of our small dingy hotel room in Mumbai there's also the sound of construction workers.

All over Kerela there's Tabla sales men trying to sell you there percussion instruments. I met Ali in Fort Kochi and he was kind enough to let me record him on the rocks by the Chinese Fishing Nets. Ive mangled this in Ableton.

I recorded Abdul Latife on the last day of being in India. He sat down in the back of his brothers musical instrument shop and played me a couple of songs. I ended up taking these Tabla home with me. I love this recording because you can here the sound of the street in the background. One of many highlights from our trip.
