Love Attacks founder Alan Dixon joins UK house duo mOat and multi-instrumentalist Tom Diesel on DFTD with ‘Underground’. Coming in hot from his rework of Infinity Ink’s ‘Infinity’ on sister-label Glitterbox, nightlife authority Alan Dixon now collaborates with rising artists of the electronic scene. The UK pairing of producers Tom Staar and Chris Spero, mOat have found a home on Armin Van Buuren’s imprint Armada, recently releasing ‘Heat’ with Tensnake. Previously collaborating with Alan Dixon for ‘Infados’ on Love Attacks Records, mOat have also worked with the hybrid producer and live performer Tom Diesel for ‘Pizza Cat’. Now uniting as one on DFTD, the four electronic artists present ‘Underground’; pulsating synth patterns underpin bright piano accents, with Afro electronic-inspired percussion decorating this deep and brooding club track.

A powerhouse collaboration arrives on Defected as BLOND:ISH, Moby and Kiko Franco come together for ‘Natural Blues’. A bona fide talent with many strings to her bow, BLOND:ISH has emerged as one of this generation’s most acclaimed electronic artists. From launching the non-profit environmental organisation Bye Bye Plastic and her own label ABRACADABRA, to playing the biggest stages around the world like Coachella, Tomorrowland and Pacha Ibiza’s first ever female residency in 2025, there is nothing BLOND:ISH can’t do. Returning to Defected after 2024’s tastemaker hit ‘The Cure’ with KeeQ and Chloe Paige, BLOND:ISH now collaborates with Moby, one of the world’s most prolific and best-selling dance music artists who also returns to Defected after label debut ‘You & Me’ with Anfisa Letyago. With incoming shows at Defected’s new Pacha Ibiza residency, Mochakk’s Calling Festival and Dom Dolla’s residency at Hï Ibiza set for summer 2025, Dennis Ferrer continues to prove himself as one of the world’s premiere selectors. His status as a house innovator has been cemented through new ventures, including the launch of thriftshoppe with partner Olena Ferrer, and this highly anticipated label debut from an NYC legend heralds Classic’s 30th anniversary. Starting as a collaboration between Girls of the Internet’s Tom Kerridge and UK soul sensation Sophie Faith, ‘Affirmations’ was released in summer of 2023 prior to the collective’s full-length LP When I Was Lost, I Found Myself.
