Recently Triple J challenged producers to complete an unfinished Flume track, offering a blank canvas for any style. Hearing Flume's raw, heavy bass stems, I immediately gravitated towards a UK bass and grime direction, but with my signature breakbeat influence.

To capture that authentic UK vibe, I incorporated vocals from the newly released Flodan sample pack (yes, those vocals – but they fit perfectly). The result? A bass-bin shaking monster, packed with intricate sound design, complex basslines, and driving, energetic beats.

Again I wasn't lucky enough to win the Triple J competition so now I'm giving my version away for free. Not sure how long it will last before it gets taken down so grab it whilst you can!

Here's something fresh for you for today only (it's bandcamp friday). This is a project that's been simmering away since lockdown - It's a collaboration between myself and singer/songwriter GSD.

It's straight up groovy pop indie surf rock pshchedelic cosmic summery dance. It's different, but the same.

Today we have part one of our E.P, Surfing + Time Stands still. TSS has already been picked up as track of the week on BBC introducing and described as "Tune of the summer". Pretty neat!
