Reece Cross (born March 27, 1989), better known as his stage name That boi Cross, is an American rapper, producer and engineer from Pine Bluff, Arkansas. His father is Caucasian, while his mother is African American.
Cross started rapping at the age 12, actually becoming serious about it at 18 when he hooked up with a local group called "CrossOva" which is when he also added production and engineering to his repertoire.[4]
Cross grew up in a multi-ethnic environment. His childhood revolved around a love for both baseball and rap music. He attended Watson Chapel High School and graduated with honors while receiving a baseball scholarship in 2007. He chose to attend the University of Central Arkansas on a baseball scholarship as a pitcher. He eventually transferred to the University of Arkansas at Monticello. There, he majored in Business Administration and with a concentration in Marketing. He will be graduating in the spring of 2013.
Among finishing college, Cross played two years of Independent Professional Baseball. He indicated that he hopes to attain a job in the entertainment and music industry.
