A guitarist at heart, and heavily influenced by the various scenes across the Channel, Iannis Rezgui began producing and DJing in 2015. At the same time, he co-founded Material Paris, with whom he made his debut. For 5 years, he organised a number of warehouse and club events with the collective, notably at Le Batofar and Le Sacré, and shared the bill with various players on the techno scene, including Pas-Sage, Electronic Feeling and La Quarantaine. 
Strongly inspired by artists such as Blawan and Hector Oaks, the producer is already showing a particular interest in high bpm and organic textures. 
But it was in 2020 that the artist decided to launch his solo project, keen to explore and develop his vision of techno without limits. This was followed by 2 years of intensive production, enabling Iannis Rezgui to assert an advanced aesthetic, combining the foundations of deep, mental techno with rhythms approaching trance. His tracks eventually came to the attention of François X and Elise Massoni, who played them regularly at the Berghain and on Rinse and Boiler Room. 
The year 2023 marked the real start of the artist's career, with an appearance on Maison Close's 5th various and a highly acclaimed appearance at Le Virage, alongside Laze, Caiva and JKS. Iannis Rezgui signed his first solo EP to Marseille-based label Matière Production, whose tracks have already been played by the likes of Anetha, Mama Snake and Nina Kraviz.
