Open Into Flame
 is a meditation, a prayer and a dance for personal and collective transformation. For the past month, I have been immersed in smoke from fires burning in the mountains to surrounding my home and from the hundreds of others burning nearby here in the Pacific Northwest of Canada/USA. The burning of entire towns, homes and livelihoods has moved me into tears and into deep reflection. What is our Earth Mother asking of us in this time? This music was chosen to tell the story of my own journey into this question. It's an invitation to open into your own flame and to support releasing, transforming and welcoming new beginnings. As Bība shares so eloquently in this mix, “It’s time for a change of skin. This shedding is underway. Snake shows us that this shedding is by fire. The skin burning away is a skin full of injustices, anger and violence. [The fire] is symbolic of moving away from the old ways and making way for the new. In these flames, our anger can now be seen, our shadow revealed by the glowing light. And in this fire now, it’s time to heal. At this time of great shedding, an energy channel is open- a line of light. This line of light is our lineage. Our path to awakening. This energy is open to all beings on earth to come into alignment with the unfolding mystery of our individual and collective evolution.”

“Dhanya Vad” means “Gratitude” in Sanskrit.

Leopan went through a dark and challenging period and at times he did not feel to be grateful for anything at all. Getting into music creation again however helped him to re-connect with his essence and his vibration started to raise again and he hopes that this Sound Healing Journey will support you in uplifting your spirit, dissolving negative energies and  to create a sense of deep peace and trust.

He used the following frequencies and tunings to amplify these intentions:

All sounds are tuned to the solfeggio tuning of A = 444 Hz

111 Hz - which appears to be a healing frequency that can cause a multitude of beneficial effects ranging from cell regeneration over treating insomnia to boosting intuition and inducing meditative states -  is woven into this composition as well 

396 Hz to resonate the Root Chakra, which gives us a sense of groundedness, a deeper connection to mother earth and it also calms down the nervous system and helps us to release fear and anxiety.

639 Hz for the Heart Chakra, to stimulate and boost our sense of love for ourselves and others, inviting gratitude and forgiveness.

Binaural Beats support our brain to synchronize both sides of the brain and entrain it into a deep relaxed and meditative state.

William Fayette aka @tecnicomusic is of Filipino/Spanish origin and has been diving deep into his family roots in an effort to weave his ancestral lineage into his music. In the process of deciding what he should name his single release focused on gratitude for Harmonic Resonance, he discovered the true meaning and roots of the word  SALÁMAT.

SALÁMAT has been used by Filipinos since pre-colonization times to express gratitude, to give thanks, to express appreciation by wishing someone peace, safety, and good health.

If we dig deeper and reflect on the root of this everyday word used in the Philippines it is more than just saying thank you. SALÁMAT is a word deeply rooted in Peace and Harmony. 

On this path of self-discovery, Técnico felt immense gratitude in his heart coupled with a lot of emotions for what his ancestors endured at the hands of colonization. Through the journey of discovering his roots and naming this song Salamát, an immeasurable amount of empowerment came along with it. The teaching he received from this is the better we understand our ancestors the better we understand ourselves. @KirbyAraullo

528 Hz is a solfeggio tone that is related to activating our DNA and unlocking higher potentials that lay dormant within our DNA coding

639 hz is a solfeggio tone that is believed to resonate and activate our heart chakra and therefore will connect you with the intelligence of your heart and increase your sense of self love and compassion.

The Isochronic tone entrains the brain into a higher state of awareness and allows for access to what we generally refer to as "subconscious" the carrier frequency for the pulse is at 528Hz for a stronger resonance

528 Hz is also apparently related to the solar plexus chakra which governs our will power and sense of self worth and inner and outer radiance

Well-Being Cities is a unique collaboration between Cities and Memory and C40, a global network of mayors of nearly 100 world-leading cities collaborating to deliver the urgent action needed right now to confront the climate crisis.

The project asks artists to reimagine soundscapes representing well-being in cities – whether environmental, social, climate-related or cultural – with sound works being presented at the C40 Summit in Buenos Aires in October.

– What does a city that prioritizes health and well-being sound like?
– How can we use sound to reflect on what an equitable, healthy and climate-safe approach to wellbeing looks like for cities?
– What would a truly green, resilient and equitable city sound like?

"The Piece is called "Welcome to Abundancia". Abundancia is the name of the imaginary city that has achieved a state of total balance, harmony, abundance and integration of nature. It serves as a playground and safe home for it citizens and provides all that is needed for its people and animals to thrive and (Abun)dance together. The track invites you to experience how it sounds and feels to spent a day in this magical sanctuary from sunrise to sunset.

In Abundancia people have found a way to remove all stress and toxicity and to live in harmony and flow by getting rid of all distracting and unnecessary elements, by focusing on what brings joy and well-being and by living in community instead of isolation. The city has its name because the main goal is to offer and create abundance for all. It  has huge community gardens that provide high quality organic food and medicine plants for everyone and many sources of pure clean and fresh water can be found in and around the city. There are also beautiful parks where people do spiritual practices like Yoga, Meditation, Qi-Gong etc. together. 

The citizens of Abundancia live in joy, happiness and a sense of fulfillment and purpose because all jobs and services are directly connected to support and serve the community. And everyone has the opportunity and is encouraged to follow their passion. They also understand that they create their reality individually and collectively based on their thoughts, beliefs and emotions and that there is no limitation to what they can create except for what they can't imagine. People realized that fear and lack have been created in the past by limiting and negative beliefs but everyone in Abundancia is constantly reminded of the power they have as creator beings and that's why fear no longer exists because people have realized that it does not serve them to focus on fearful and negative thoughts and instead they always ask themselves how they can create more beauty, love and abundance.

The city is very colorful and a huge playground for all kinds of creative expressions and art forms. The people in Abundancia have understood and mastered the meta-physical principles of frequency, energy, vibration and resonance and  therefore the architecture and design reflects and is based on sacred geometry and cosmic harmonics that help to create an energy field of coherence and harmony in and around the city.

I am deeply grateful to be able to participate in this project and know deep in my heart that Abundancia is not just a fantasy but a memory from the not so distant future.

GRATITUDE - what magnitude, an amplitude of LOVE

Starting a project I often speak an intuitive poem as my text score and guide. Every morning I journal  3 things I am grateful for and I connect to my heart. The constant heart beat was a basic part for this track and the sound is from my TamTam Gong. I wanted sounds which were recorded with a loving & pure intention - so I included the recording of some of my own Tibetan Bowls for this extra long vibration. The journey is supposed to hold space and help in your transformational gratitude-journey.

Gratitude brings us closer to feel our eternal Soul.

The title of this track, 'Cảm ơn,' which means 'Thank you' in Vietnamese, was chosen for its resonant sound and its meaning, evoking a sense of gratitude. I felt a connection between this phrase and the English 'come on,' with its connotation of progress and development, which perfectly captured the essence of this track.

This project was not without difficulties, as I faced obstacles while producing the music. I experienced gratitude in my mind but not in my heart. These struggles inspired me to transform the composition's purpose, using it to help others who face similar blocks to gratitude.

Through the use of specific frequencies, isochronic tones, and bass sounds, the track was created to open the heart and encourage listeners to feel gratitude in a deeper, more profound way. The track also incorporates the use of nature sounds, including brown and white noise. These sounds were expertly woven into the track, creating a soothing background that enhances the listening experience. Brown noise and white noise have been shown to have numerous benefits, including their ability to help promote relaxation and reduce stress.

The composition was crafted using 258Hz, 432Hz, 528Hz, and 639Hz isochronic tones to open the heart and help fall into a meditative state of mind. The low bass sounds used in the track are particularly noteworthy, as they provide a grounding and calming effect, helping listeners to relax and feel safe.

The creation of this track was a collaborative effort between several talented individuals, each of whom played a vital role in bringing the final product to life.

The first of these individuals is Kirk, an amazing musician who brought the bass to the track and played it with great skill and sensitivity. His contribution was integral in creating the magic that is present in the track.

His expertise helped to refine the track, taking it to new heights and making it sound the way it does. Thanks to Nico’s efforts, this track is a beautiful piece of music that truly captures the feeling of gratitude.

Finally, Frank, a gifted visual artist, brought the piece to life with a breathtaking visualizer, a testament to the healing power of color frequencies.

In conclusion, the described soundtrack is a result of the commitment, dedication, and creativity of a team of talented individuals, whose work was vital in bringing the vision to life.
