Second in our series we have @ensuree on board of our flying cauldron. The Copenhagen based newcomer became one of our favorite selectors when it's about slow to mid tempo Trance experiences and such a talented DJ and musician, the name speaks for itself. This is by far the quickest mix she ever recorded. Coming from a classical music background in form of flute studies and singing, music was always an important part of her life. Over Deep Techno like Dozzy, northern electronics and Postpunk she made her way to digging in the crates for old Goa records and slowing them down like Grand Mage Professor Vladimir revealed to us. Besides her creative expression she studied biochemistry, ergo modern witchcraft. You'll hear more from her in the near future, we ensure you.

Spell Cast 002 - ensure

Alfred's visit to Viktor's hometown of Utrecht resulted in the creation of a new EP in which rhythm and colour meet. The entire piece is infused with the 90s mood, including the timeless elements of that era projected through the distinctive approach of both artists. PJM is highly recommended for fans of 90s breakbeat and forward-thinking electronic music that combines nostalgia and innovation. 

Once the door is opened, the listener is saluted by "Wuwuwu," a liquid breakbeat meditation with a touch of yesterday's melancholia. "Nnt," "No Tomorrow," and "Sss'' are of a different nature: mischievous and antsy. They utilize vinyl backspins and scratches, old-school drum loops and vocal exclamations in a slightly accelerated tempo, making them precarious dancefloor nukes that are sure to set the crowd ablaze.

We were first introduced to Hewan Aman a while back when friends were inviting her to play at their parties and feature on their radio shows. 

Our ears perked up as soon as we heard Hewan effortlessly glide between techno, prog and psy influenced tunes, and it's been a treat watching from the sidelines as she has continued to hone her craft. 

Now regulalry getting booked at some of the coolest parties in Europe and holding down a residency at Rinse, we were chuffed when Hewan let us know she was keen put some time aside to record us a mix.

So pleased and honoured to have @martin_gilleshoej on this new episode of tentacular! As expected, he delivered us a magical gem with high level progression all the way through.

Versatile selector, Martin dives into numerous facets of music with a passionate and inspiring attitude. His willingness to take risks and deliver an inquisitive and groovy approach to DJing always leaves a warm signature on the dance floor.

Martin shows a remarkable talent for crafting moods, and his years of dedication to the art of DJing have made him a beloved figure in the Copenhagen electronic music community and beyond. In addition to DJing, he co-runs @axcesrecordings and Proton Records, our favorite vinyl store in Copenhagen.

As per our tradition, he shared few words on his intentions around this mix :

« Lately, I’ve found inspiration in Marlene Reynolds Laugesen's paintings, in which she explores the realm of dreams and the doors they open to the subconscious. In this mix, I’ve aimed to create an introspective journey, moving from one place to another with her beautiful paintings as companions. Musically, the mix is compiled with many atmospheric and hypnotic tunes, which are what I enjoy the most at the moment. On another note, this mix is quite special to me, as it will be the last one I put out before becoming a father. It marks a liminal phase, full of emotions and excitement for a new chapter in my life. »

An ecstatic journey and, simultaneously, a ritual in honor of techno. The second Domus Cast is curated by o.utlier, a DJ, live performer, and Irish producer known for his unmistakable stylistic signature.

In this set, created during that unforgettable night, the artist crafts an atmosphere filled with dense and enigmatic sounds, striking a perfect balance between drone, ambient, wavering synths, distorted percussions, and immersive field recordings.

o.utlier is the co-founder of Titrate Records and has collaborated with renowned labels such as Appian Sounds, Ufonic, Soul People Music, Verdant, and Naïf. He has long been a resident at Astral Industries and has performed at prestigious venues such as Vurt, Tresor, Under Bron, Iklectik, Corsica Studios, and for collectives like Experiment Intrinsic and Mysteries of the Deep.
