Den Start macht Laima Adelaide aus Stuttgart. Wir durften sie bereits im letzten Jahr zu einer unserer Veranstaltungen begrüßen und freuen uns sehr, sie in Form eines Sets wieder bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen!

Sie ist seit mittlerweile einigen Jahren für ihren minimalistischen und deepen Sound bekannt. 
2021 hat sie ihr eigenes Label Predawn Rercords gegründet, auf dem sie und gleichgesinnte Künstler:innen aus ihrem engen und erweiterten Umfeld Musik veröffentlichen.

Five wonderful years have passed for Velvet Vortex and keeping in mind all the people we have crossed paths with, all the lessons we have learned and all the inspiration we have gained – it is time to open a new exciting chapter. Further information will be discovered slowly, but at this moment we are ready to present the Velvet Vortex podcast series. Another branch of VV activity responsible for spreading our passion for deep, ambitious and quality sound in modern electronic music.

We are opening the series with a recording prepared by none other than our long time friend – a skillful and well-respected dj & producer – Luigi Tozzi. Recently he also joined the Hypnus records family, which we consider as a very natural move, which resulted in three part EP series. Vicky Zissou has been capturing hearts, minds and dancing feet with her richly organic, eclectic sound over recent years, flitting between atmospheric, dubby, acid and raw industrial vibrations in a way that oozes with class and ensures your attention never wavers. Between Sweden and Berlin, Black Wave podcast no. 30 by Vicky Zissou.

Now’s the time to leave before another storm hits the coast, deeper into the island. Sand quickly replaced with leaves rustling under the weight of your drained body. A swift change in light marks the entering to the jungle. Rumbling of the ocean is left far behind, tropical heat with an orchestra of birds, animals and insects overflows every bit of you. Although, one particular sound stands out, with slow but steady repetition inviting from deep within the forest. The closer you get, the easier it is to distinguish meditative hum followed by a voice – a human voice. Emerging from the shadows a giant black rock with the carving o a wave appears, and the eyes gazing directly into you – the shaman has been waiting.
