Adam Pit’s Grounded EP sees the space•lab favourite exploring deeper, techno-inspired terrains. Opening track, ‘Schtoopbloop’ traces mystical synth lines and expansive vocals, underpinned by a satisfyingly substantial, driving baseline. Track two, ‘Tiptoe’, enters Pits’ iconic breaksy palette - equal parts dreamy and slick, this is the wipeout soundtrack for the next century. On the flipside, Konduku dips his toe into remix duties, offering up a shimmering, spiralling rework of the original. Finally, closing up the release, title track ‘Grounded’ growls into view, rising from sub-heavy foundations into dubby, treacle-speed sounds.

The tune that started it all off for us, @Jazz_Dad 's debut release - Don't Flex On Me

We were first introduced to this track 2 years ago, when our good friend Annx played it in one of her iconic Above Below sets. After learning that the tune was unreleased by a mysterious new producer based in Melbourne, we were quick to get in touch and start thinking of ways we could release it on P&P.

After much discussion, we planned to focus this VA around Don't Flex On Me, and started reaching out to the other artists who have featured, to discuss how we could make as coherent an EP as possible. That involved over 2 years of waiting and changing plans, and we couldn't be more grateful to Henry aka Jazz Dad for his continued patience and collaboration.

Don't Flex On Me has been popping up in sets over the last couple of years and from what we've seen, it's managed to bring a smile to just about everyone that's heard it. We hope this is just the start of Jazz Dad's production story! Fingers crossed, more to come soon :))

Zenwerk is an eclectic tech trance enthusiast from Belarus, though based in Warsaw, Poland, where he has already established himself as a leading artist. 

Ne Quid Nimis is Latin for ""nothing in excess"" – the track is a perfectly balanced subaquatic blend of peaceful yet progressive trance and muffled bloopy sonics. Inspired by the mountains hikes, this tribal trip into the rainforest creates a drifting atmosphere of a celestial and dynamic ride meant to pass a healing power of nature alongside joyful turbulence and inspiration. Ethereal vibrations & deep sound textures create a dreamy universe of wonder and bright hopes for the future.
