This piece of music took quite a long time to produce. There were always little parts in it, which did not completely satisfy me. But now it is done at least. While composing and producing this piece of music, i often had pictures of the sea, sitting on the beach and looking to the endless horizon in my mind. Maybe these pictures are a metaphor for being connected to our beautiful planet... © GEMA

Afer having passed the „Abitur“ (Germany university entrance qualification) i began to study music with the emphasis on composition in Berlin. Before that and during the academic studies i already started to compose for theaters, ballet companies, radio dramas, advertising etc. Later i began to compose for motion pictures in german television. Apart from that i worked with several jazz bands touring Germany and several countries in europe.
About 1990 when the impact of globalization began to influence the music business very dramatically, i decided to quit music business and startet a new career in the financial sector. Today i´m working as a fund manager.
Nevertheless music still belongs to my life like the air to breeze. My small but nice music studio is still there and is waiting for me every weekend. Because i don´t have to earn money with my music, i can compose and produce music without any commercial pressure. And as a composer beyond the mainstream i can promise you: this is really living in luxury..!
And still i´m really happy, when people like my music. Keep on groovin´
