Solace Nerwal is a self-taught music producer & deejay hailing from Washington DC.  
Solace has always had a passion for music.  He began remixing at the age of 14 using only his home computer.  At the age of 16, through encouragement from friends and family, Solace started deejaying at private events and local clubs.  He released countless mixtapes under the alias 'DJ Ace'.  At the age of 18, Solace started to learn music production and composed his first track. “Sucha Soorma” is the brand new single taken from the forthcoming album “The Cure” By Gurvinder Singh. “Sucha Soorma” will be available for download on the 02/10/2014!
The track is sung by Balveer Mann with music by Gurvinder Singh.

The vocalist Balveer Mann was born and raised in Punjab, studying for nearly over a decade under the esteemed tutelage of the legendary Late Kuldeep Manak.
Balveer Mann has only had one previous release in the UK which was in 2010 with the hit duet song “Jatt Sharabi” By Unique Sounds Roadshow.  

The music has been provided by Gurvinder Singh who has completed his own 12 track album “The Cure”. Set to release December 2014, the album features an array of singers including Balveer Mann, Meet Malkit, Tanvir Gogi, Jaswant Heera, Pappi Gill and Aalam Jasdeep.

 

Gurvinder’s previous singles have received critical acclaim and featured continuous airplay on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1xtra. This release combines folk elements with hard hitting hip hop and even incorporates elements of drum and bass. This release also features hand drawn art work.

When prompted for an insight into "Sucha Soorma", Gurvinder Singh suggested that “it is a folk based song that I’ve portrayed with a range of themes to give it a 21st century transformation”

“Sucha Soorma” is now available for pre-order and will be out on all digital outlets on the 02/10/2014!
