The colossal Caposile Music strike once more with a heavy hitting house EP. This sought after summertime jam comes from resident and long time family member, Maggio. The flourishing Italian talent enforces the driving force that is After Caposile with three driven and animated grooves for the peak hours of the party. Accompanying him with a stellar remix is acclaimed live performer and producer, Vitess, the Frenchman showcasing his consistent sound, living up to the Caposile ethos with great effect.

This is “Discoline”.

Title track “Discoline” cruises on an irresistible elastic groove, shimmering synths and pads shine bright, breathing life into the rolling structure of the track. This one living and breathing a pure and infectious summer time energy. Packing a serious punch is “Vertigo”, built upon crisp drum arrangements and another dynamite bass line for the heads. If you are looking to go up a gear on the floor then you are in the right place.

On the B side Maggio’s “Outer Space” leads the way. The aptly named track prepares you for lift off with its distinctive chugging, sub heavy bass. Sprinkles of spaced out vocals tease you down a path of curiosity. Vitess rounds off the EP with another recipe for dance floor frenzy in his remix of “Discoline”, playful yet effective frequencies to ignite the flight, an essential for the record bags of many in the coming months.

CPSL005 lands off the back of the “Sound Of Garden” volumes 1 and 2, and with this latest addition to the catalogue it ensures the label and club continue to cement themselves at the forefront of the scene for underground minimal and house, continuing to spread like wildfire. Back in the day, there was no distinction between Italo, acid and house. When Beat Band unleashed their soulful Italo house banger “Dance Now” onto the dancefloors in 1991, even rap parts in dance tracks were not totally uncommon. Though hip house has since proven to be probably the most revival-resistant club genre, Harry Nipples and jo.desaga deliver a contemporary twist on the niche genre. 

With driving progressive house grooves, acid synths and disco string arrangements, the original oldschool house flair of “Dance Now” morphs into a euphoric piano house anthem, bridging the gap between ecstasy-fueled 90s rave nostalgia and the trance-affiliated house sound of the present. With a shared love for high-energy power house and catchy piano hooks, the tongue-in-cheek attitude of Harry Nipples’ Italo disco-inspired DJ sets blends seamlessly with jo.desaga’s percussive drum productions, punchy basslines and trancy synth riffs.  

For their first release on ZYX Records Berlin-based DJ Harry Nipples and producer jo.desaga team up to celebrate the past and present of acid house with two versions of „Dance Now“.

Joshua James is one of the kingpins of London's queer club scene. He's resident DJ at London's hottest party Feel It, plus residencies at XOYO and Drumsheds' new False Idols party, not to mention a releases on Phantasy Sound, Warehouse Music, Pets Recordings, and Polari.

We managed to snag him for a release on Maximum Airtime, and he turned in two absolute stompers: “Feel The Beat” is a peak-hour pumper driven by melodic rave stabs, and “Make It Better” is a blinding techno chugger.

And to top it all off, we have a slammin' trancey house remix from Slump Recordings founder Baby Rollén (Touch From A Distance, Semi Delicious, Futureboogie)! Buckle your seat belts!

For the tenth edition of the WARNING 12” series - Secretsundaze, now led by James Priestley, releasing his first work under the moniker as a solo venture and marking a new sonic direction for the project. On WAR1210 he delivers two original cuts residing on the A Side, with remixes on the flip. 

The EP opens with ‘Doesn’t This Sun Feel Great’, a rising, percussive track that utilises disparate samples and twisted vocal manipulation for a fast paced, dancefloor orientated roller. Progressive in outlook, organic in nature, the track steadily builds throughout, culminating in a deserving, euphoric release. ‘The Real Sun’ takes the sensibilities of the opening track and leans on its raw, rolling percussive energy, keeping things highly functional and grooving.

The B side commences with Drua’s version of ‘Doesn’t This Sun Feel Great’. Drawing for a sonic palette quickly becoming synonymous with him, the remix twists and turns in a mesh of psychedelic progressive and hard hitting tech house. To wrap up proceedings Giraffi Dog delivers his captivating ‘700 Lakeside remix’ of ‘The Real Sun’, pushing boundaries with an inventive score that transforms the original track's energy.
