Shaped by decades of discovery, James’ sets are a joyride of connection, spanning House, Techno, Prog, Breaks, Bruk, Garage, Global Bass and everything in between.

Always leaning forward, James founded Soul Potential in 2025, a Leeds-based label focused on contemporary groove-driven dance music, fusing modern club sounds with deep, soulful, timeless elements.

Alongside a residency at Leeds community party Friday Feeling, which he founded in 2020, James also hosts his own Friends & Frances parties, as well as regular shows on Leeds' Alto Radio.
