Merv xx Gotti is the award-winning Canadian multi-genre artist and vocalist behind the solo singer-songwriter project "Guitar Songs." He is also the lead singer of hip-hop/R&B duo, Samurai Champs, as well as the frontman of indie-emo band, GHOSTFORM. He has received accolades from CBC's Future 40, TD Bank's Creative Entrepreneurship Incubator, and the Congress of Humanities and Social Sciences. Most recently, he garnered national attention from CBC Canada for his creative and community contributions during Asian Heritage Month.

His latest project, "Guitar Songs," explores a more minimal sound, emphasizing his androgynous, dreamy vocals to deliver his vulnerable and sincere songwriting. His debut single, "Jiujitsu," has already amassed over 30,000 streams on Spotify and earned placement on numerous influencer playlists.

The debut EP release for "Guitar Songs" is scheduled for Spring 2024.
