SODAA Club is a community developing a decentralised governance model for a music & arts venue in London.

Their first release explores the foundations of their own sound - with members and friends of their commmunity, the 31-track compilation is "genreless and fluid, self-organised and bottom-up."

Inspired by the decentralised release of Alkisah by Senyawa, any label sharing similar values could release their own version : "the artists and the labels participating in this compilation believe in a more equitable and collaborative future for our scenes, one guided by principles of solidarity economy, distributed decision-making, and the rejection of capitalist notions of culture, music and space."

The profits will be split between the artists and SODAA, as a way to raise funds for their long-term goals, with a part going to the labels for their help.

From the very start of Bonebrokk’s debut album, we are plunged into a downward spiral of industrial percussion and distorted voices. ‘Altered Realities’ builds a terrifying maelstrom out of what sounds like an engine in a deep tunnel, a seismic alarm, and a hype MC calling for help through a busted intercom. Soon a galloping kick appears and we are off to the races. From there, the record rarely lets up.

The sonic palette remains fairly consistent throughout, but the album covers a lot of ground rhythmically and stylistically, touching on deformed dancehall, hyperfuture dnb (Vassilina’s guest spot provides one of the few moments of relative tenderness), and loads of mutant, latin-inflected techno rollers. Two beatless interludes provide breathers—‘Timelines Melt’ and ‘Valley of Wolves’— although, as the titles might suggest, even these are steeped in dread.

Bonebrokk has crafted ‘In Between Two Worlds’ as a bridge into an imagined world that he can escape to, a respite from the banality of day jobs and our mundane everyday existence that club music can provide for us all.

Forged in the dead of night at a particularly explosive edition of Houghton festival, the two long-time friends were brought together by a mutual love of borderline piss-take music. It's fast bangers only.

For his sixth 96 Back LP, Evan Majumdar-Swift found himself writing “a long form eulogy” to his years living in Manchester while preparing for an imminent move to London. Initially intended as a series of technical exercises, which saw the artist radically stripping back his established production setup, over the last two years tender, exit gradually took on the form of an emotional landscape, mapped in transit between two cities. “The overarching concept of the record is cycles, recognising them, loving them, and tearing yourself away from them,” he says. Heard together, the project takes on the pace and cadence of a passionate conversation with a loved one.

Parisian Ghetto Club Music don BIG DOPE P is making bass fuelled waves since 2007, emerging as one of Europe’s premier DJ’s and producers in this field. He has toured worldwide & worked with some of the biggest A-list casts from across the board of dance music & rap like  Basement Jaxx, KAYTRANADA, Duck Sauce, Tiga, Rustie, Pusha T, Lil Wayne, Todd Terry, Nick Hook, Todd Edwards, DJ Sliink, Ryan Hemsworth, Feadz, TT The Artist, Crookers & many more. 

He co-founded the infamous MOVELTRAXX imprint when he was 16 but also released on other prestigious labels like OWSLA, Fool's Gold, LuckyMe, Ed Banger, Nervous, Ninja Tune or Local Action. Now based in London, he’s currently finishing his debut album to be released in 2021.
