Born into a family of engineers, and musicians, Hector Fierro, always had a keen passion for, music, and machines. His affinity with music led to him learning to play the trumpet, and drums at a young age, which quickly developed into an ardent interest for electronic music. |

At 18, after traveling extensively around, Asia, Europe and America. He established his promotion company called, Aphfunk. Which was responsible for numerous parties featuring artist like, &ME, Nick Curly, Phonique, and Radio Slave, to name a few in the city of El Paso, Texas, and its border city, Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. In 2014 he moved to Los Angeles and started making his rounds at different clubs and bars such as Couture, where he played multiple times for the well known night on Hollywood, Clinic Wednesdays.

Recorded live at one of my favourite parties of the season, this is nothing but 5 star jams all the way- kicking off with classic soul from Marvin Gaye (who gives this mix it’s name), taking in some world music from Africa and Brazil, a sprinkling of disco classics then powering through to a big finish with some modern day house bangers from Camelphat and LCD Soundsystem.. yet always with a touch of soul. A perfect set to throw on for your next house jam, this is a journey through some of my favourite tunes of all time which is guaranteed to get you dancing joyfully by the end!

This beautiful high-quality 1:30 hr musical narrative comes from the live presentation of an ecstatic dance created during a beautiful intimate yoga gathering in the south pacific coast of Nicaragua.

The beaches and the infinite horizon atmosphere along with the nurturing energy of the tribe who gathered in the name of deepening into the presence of the body, brought me to create a unique ritualistic dance session that touches upon the subtle movements of the psyche, the shadow aspects of the self, the very seldom visited inner spaces of silence, touching upon grief, marching into high intensity energy, and falling into the deep abyss of the ocean inside of our soul.

I am so grateful to be able to merge with tribe in this way. This is my calling, as a priestess of sound. We are here now. During this pandemic, during this apocalypse of the world as we knew it. I believe in going deep within our unique selves and finding the path to joy and Love through the rest of the sentient experiences.
