iluna is a Scottish DJ and producer currently based in Mexico City, known for her enigmatic sound and boundary-pushing productions. Taking her name from the Basque word ilun—meaning “dark,” “mysterious,” and “obscure”— reflects iluna’s immersive sounds that fuse deep textures & hypnotic energy.

A standout figure in Scotland’s underground electronic scene, iluna has residencies with Tribal Pulse and EPiKA in Edinburgh, and has shared the stage with seminal acts including Vitalic, Harvey McKay, DJ Pierre, and Leftfield.

Her dynamic performances have taken her to some of the UK’s most iconic stages, from Terminal V Festival to Sub Club in Glasgow, where she played for Soma Records’ Return to Mono. She also made her debut at the legendary Berkeley Suite, supporting Leftfield with the I LOVE ACID crew.
Now bringing her signature sound to the vibrant scene of Mexico City, iluna continues to evolve artistically and geographically. In 2025, she will develop a new music project funded by the Help Musicians x DJ Mag Electronic Music Award, which she received for her forward-thinking vision. The award includes tailored mentorship, business support, and funding for creative development.
