A few months ago Nova Fractal asked me to make a mix with the best tracks in my opinion of the releases on his digital label Timewarp Records. 
This sounded like a challenge to me and the result can be found here! :) The title is how the mix feels to me: I "visited" 4 different territories :) 
The first part is rather Psy-trance with goa-influences, the second part is full power modern goa, the third part is morning goa-trance and the last part is euphoric goa/nitzhogoa! 
Enjoy the music! :) Next there will be a real 90s old school mix again ;)

Beatroots brings together some intriguing new steppa rhythms. A full length feature of some of his deep dubstep, garage and bass music. The meandering poly-rhythmic pad and chord progression, moves seamlessly in between the intelligent percussion. They cling to the deep rumbling bass tones which hold up the subtle, yet intricate structure of the Beaten Root. The rigorous selection process which Saxon undertook to finally compiling this album, has brought plenty of pleasure and bass aches to his ears. Though now, he is even more honored to be so privileged, as to release the 'Foundations' EP on the exciting new collective label, Shanti Planti.

I managed to record my closing DJ set at this years Ozora Festival... I played on Sunday evening at 7pm at sunset going into the night... Thank you SO much to everyone who was there and danced and smiled and shared these hours with me, it was a huge honour to play the closing set at my favourite festival in the universe!! And an amazing end to an epic week!!

Rexapis - Dream in the Day

Sasha was born and raised in East-Germany and can be described as a general music enthusiast. Growing up mostly on Grunge and Sixties Psychedelia, he got into Psychedelic Trance around 2005 and started playing DJ-sets and organizing events in 2007/2008. 

After moving to the Berlin area around 2010, he has been working and playing for several major European Festivals (e.g. Freqs of Nature, Space Safari, Lost Theory, MoDem), became a Label-DJ for Kamino Records & Lost Theory Records and organized various Indoor-events in Berlin.  

2017 saw the foundation of his own label Quintessence Records, together with aspiring Berlin-producer Yons. Since the beginning, their philosophy is to publish all music for free, while delivering high quality releases regarding artist selection, production, mastering, artwork and promotion. Besides his work for the label, Sasha is an integral part of Space Safari Festival in Belgium.

Being a dedicated seeker of deep psychedelic tunes, his sets are known to be precisely conceived stories, always adapted to the timetable slot. His favorite styles to play are Forest and Darkpsy within the range of 148-160 bpm.
